Taylor Marsh is a well-regarded Liberal radio talk show host and blogger. She’s also got a big ‘ol girl crush on Hillary Clinton. But that doesn’t mean that this criticism of the Obamaniacs isn’t spot on:

Obamabots and the people supporting Mr. Obama are the most unhinged, rhetorically violent and truth averse bunch I’ve seen online, and I’ve been around since 1996, including during the Lewinski imbroglio. Nothing compares.

Yep. Though it’s a pretty close toss up with the Ron Paul supporters. Those guys are 7-kinds of crazy.

I think the bloom is off the B-HO rose. Even the Brit papers have noticed.
Wasn’t there something about B-HO plagiarizing some one the other day? It appears it is more than just one person he ripped off.

[Editor --- I scanned the first hundred-or-so comments on this particular post. If I usually read the comments to any blog post I'm reading or quoting. I didn't find anything particularly "off" about Marsh's commenters. What were you referring to?]

The Materialistic Faith of Communism, Socialism, and Liberalism.

The Declaration, continued Coolidge, is “a great spiritual document.” Its principles are not material but spiritual. “Equality, liberty, popular sovereignty, the rights of man—these are not elements we can see and touch. They are ideals (whose) source and roots (are) in religious convictions. They belong to the unseen world.”

President Coolidge cautioned Americans that, “unless the faith of the Americans in these religious convictions is to endure, the principles of our Declaration will perish. We can not continue to enjoy the result if we abandon the cause.”

Coolidge ended his speech with a stark warning, “We must not sink into a pagan materialism…” (Back Fired, William Federer, pp. 269-271)

Yet, believing they are “enlightened” and “scientific,” maddened Liberals and Transnational “elites” are leading America over the Gadarene Cliff.

Excellent piece.(and long)

LOL - just last week I was reading a copy of “Keeping the Faith: Charity Vows of America’s Mega-Church Evangelicals”

Or the educated people just happen to have chosen the same candidate after processing the available information.

Look at the correlation between education level and Obama support.

[Editor --- I remember the same people claiming that all the really smart kids were supporting John Kerry in the last election. John Kerry. Johnny Kerry. Glad that worked out for you smart kids. How'd you like them apples?]

Really smart kids were supporting John Kerry. Unfortunately a lot of other people weren’t.

Look how that’s worked out for everybody.

Maybe the Obamabots just haven’t gotten accustomed to feeling hopeful yet. It’s kind of a novel feeling these days.

BTW, if you want to get a clear picture of what unhinged means, just spend a few minutes examining the comments left by posters on Larry C. Johnson’s No Quarter USA blogsite. Half the population over there are fizzing like rabid raccoons. At least I’ve never been worried about actually being bitten by an Obamabot.

Let’s face it; Obamabots are immature individuals who are desperate to believe a fairy tale instead of face the truth and work towards tangible goals. He tell them ‘YES WE CAN;’ but omits the action they claim to own. Obama is, by his very recorded actions and votes in the US Senate, nothing more than an African-American Ronald Reagan. His candy coated rhetoric disguises the corporate toady that he truly is. Never tied down to keeping his word, through a series of planned vague statements–he dangles the promise of fair reform in front of a people starving for justice, while he cuts deals with the very multinationals who have caused our starvation in the first place. Time to hold his feet to the fire.

Got something you want to say?
