Do You Really Need More Reasons NOT to Vote for John McCain?

John RINO McCainBill Quick has up a post on 10 Reasons I Won’t Vote for McCain.

Hey, you’re preaching to the choir, brother. No way in hell am I voting for this anti-first Amendment* RINO** (who nearly flipped parties in 2001) in the Texas primary on March 4.

I’ll vote for Romney if he is still in the race. If he’s not, I’ll write in Fred Thompson.

I don’t know what I’ll do yet if McCain is the Presidential nominee against Hillary.

*McCain-Feingold is reason #2 on Bill’s list.

** In reason #10, Bill questions whether or not McCain is even a Republican at all. I have the same concern.

_______

If you live in a Super Tuesday state, and you are a conservative — please vote for Romney tomorrow.

  1. Are you sure about this?

Jeff Jacoby noted yesterday that McCain’s not perfect:

“Yet there is no candidate in either party who so thoroughly embodies the conservatism of American honor and tradition as McCain, nor any with greater moral authority to invoke it. For all his transgressions and backsliding, McCain radiates integrity and steadfastness, and if his heterodox stands have at times been infuriating, they also attest to his resolve. Time and again he has taken an unpopular stand and stuck with it, putting his career on the line when it would have been easier to go along with the crowd.

A perfect conservative he isn’t. But he is courageous and steady, a man of character and high standards, a genuine hero. If “the House that Reagan Built” is to be true to its best and highest ideals, it will unite behind John McCain.”

Time to get aboard the Straight Talk Express?

  3. Are you kidding Americneocon??? Have you done any deep research on this guys record and who he works with??? Give me a break “the House that Reagan Built” is to be true to its best and highest ideals, it will unite behind John McCain.”…..tell me that is a joke.! The house Reagan built??? Really, Reagan would have voted against tax cuts, worked on bills with the most liberal guys in the senate like Kennedy, he would have not enforced the border of his own damn state???? Gee Mccain did all that, I don’t think reagan did. Please, get real. Mccain is still saying his Z visa plan for illegal’s is a workable plan and he will push this if elected or some variation. As for being a foot soldier in Reagan revolution….well the truth is Reagan’s main tax and economic plan was passed in 1981, and McCain was not elected until 1982. He has a record of fighting AGAINST the republicans. He was one of only TWO repub senators to vote against the tax cuts. THAT is the house Reagan built?????? Not any house I want to live in.
Yes yes we all know he was a war hero, is that the only thing anyone can say about this guy?? That is great, he is a war hero, but are we electing this best old war hero or the conservative leader of the most advanced society ever created? A leader who can lead us into the 21st high tech century and compete with china and india. Do we really want a 72 year old man who has been feeding off our tax dollars for the last 25 long years as a our leader???? What jobs has he directly created? What business has he created or ever run? What bottom line has he ever had to balance for fear of losing his job?? Give me a giant break? McCain IS Washington. What about Keeting 5? The guy is part of the Washington machine that has bankrupted social security, run up huge debts, left our borders wide open with millions flooding over robbing us and sucking us dry. This is the man you want as your leader??? I don’t care about what he did 40 YEARS ago, I care about how he has voted in the last crucial issues where real conservatives NEEDED him and he sided with the wack job liberals. Wow Americneocon I don’t understand at all where you are coming from. True conservative’s better wake up to this relic, he will continue to be a sell us out just like bush. He will be bush light. Romney is the best we have left. He is not perfect but at least he has come down the right way on the key issues, and he has business experience, and he will not be 80 years old after two terms. Romney he will not work with traitors like Kennedy, he would never think of switching parties to join john Kerry like Mccain did in 2001…need I go on???? It is either Romney or the tired old retread McCain. We can do better than that.

  4. I have AOL and for what it’s worth, they’ve been doing a straw poll and romney is beating mccain nationally with a 2 percent lead. I really wonder if the conservatives are going to come out for the first time.
