Apparently the big news of the day (as reflected by the noise level at Memeorandum) is that Fidel Castro has resigned as President of Cuba:
HAVANA, Cuba (CNN) — Fidel Castro announced his resignation as president of Cuba and commander in chief of Cuba’s military Tuesday, according to a letter published in the state-run newspaper, Granma.
The resignation ends nearly a half-century of iron-fisted rule that inspired revolutionaries but frustrated 10 U.S. president.

Say what? Fidel Castro resigns as Cuban President…
Drudge is red and Fox is breaking in.
HAVANA (Reuters) – Ailing Cuban leader Fidel Castro said on Tuesday that he will not return to lead the country, retiring as head of state 49 years after he seized power in an armed revolution.
So is that how it …
His resignation isn’t enough. When I know he is backstroking down the river Styx with Che and Satan, then I will acknowledge good news.
