Marc, I understand your concerns, but he is plenty tough from fighting the donk controlled state legislature in Arkansas, and the Clintoons and their machine. He is an honorable man, and he wouldn't sign a pledge and then break it, it's not the kind of politician he is.
I have concerns about Mike as well, mostly his inexperience in foreign affairs and national security, but I had those about W too, then he added Cheney as his VP and shored up his weakness. Mike would need to surround himself with good people, which to me is the mark of a good leader. He has some powerful allies that will now enter the fray, with him going against Mc head to head. Ross Perot for one, with his considerable resources and contacts...he loathes Mc.

Well I guess this whole thread is pointless. Mit dropped out today much to my serious depression. Yes I hear you N2L, Mike sounds like a good man...I do like the guy, but what worries me is he seems very touchy feely with a big soft heart that would take in all the poor people of the world because it is the christian thing to do...WAIT, before you pound on me, I too beleive in God and am very pleased to see someone running who admits this. BUT we are talking about a closed border and cutting off all benefits to illegals so they self deport. I just don't see Mike having that hard of a heart.! And to be honest that is what it will take, a real hard ass with an iron stomach that can stand some serious heat from the hang wringing liberals who will come down on him like a bomb. Mike just seems too nice for such a hardcore fight. But I could be wrong, he could be a wolf in sheeps clothing. I know about all his statements and people who support him, and that's great. AND after today with Mit giving up, I will look at Mike because I CAN NOT vote for Mccain. I just can not vote for the man who authored the amnesty bill with kennedy...that would go against EVERYTHING I rant about everyday. So it will be Mike or third party for me....period.

"…waterboarding works…"

Then why wasn't it used against Saddam? If it really works, then it could've saved thousands of Americans and Iraqis killed by Saddam loyalists and Sunni militias in the years since his capture. Heckuva job!

Just got one of those robo poll calls from Huck's campaign blasting Romney for his position change on abortion. I answered their questions and stood by Romney. End of poll call.

Saturday I'll be at the Kansas caucus as a Romney volunteer. The map was interesting, No2. It's pretty clear to me that where Romney picked up the vote, illegal immigration is a problem.

Contrary to the administration, the NIE report claimed Iran had halted its nuclear arms program. What is more, this report conflicted with intelligence from France, the U.K. and Israel. In fact, Israel's spy agency, Mossad, reported this very week that Iran will have nuclear weapons in three years. Gratefully, National Intelligence Director Michael McConnell explained the discrepancy. The NIE report was faulty.

As reported in The New York Sun, "The director of national intelligence is backing away from his agency's assessment." McConnell explained, "If I had till now to think about it, I probably would change a few things."

Source.
Said what?
The NIE was faulty...waterboarding works...Pelosi knew?
Why wasn't that in the news on Wednesday?

While the focus the last few days has been how ugly things are for the GOP, it could be worse. It's about to get really ugly for the donks.
