Kenneth Thiesen writing in the The Berkeley Daily Planet, says what most — yes, I believe most — Liberals honestly feel about our military:

Why I Don’t Support the Troops

In the recent political battle around the Marine recruiting station in Berkeley there has been much confusion around the concept or slogan of “supporting the troops,” but opposing the unjust wars of the Bush regime. Many who oppose the Bush regime wars also say they “support the troops.” Let me say it straight out —I do not support the troops and neither should you. It is objectively impossible to support the troops of the imperialist military forces of the U.S. and at the same time oppose the wars in which they fight.

Hey, I’ve said all along (and if you ask just about any Soldier they’ll tell you the same thing), you cannot support the troops and not support their mission. Kenny gets it.

We need to expose that those in the U.S. military are trained to be part of a “killing machine.” While not every member of the military is an individual murderer, they are all part of a system that commits war crimes, including aggressive wars, massacres, rape, and other crimes against humanity, all in the service of U.S. imperialism. The bottom line is that even if these people are relatives or friends, you can not support the troops without also supporting the objective role that these troops play in the imperialist system.

Ummm…how can I put this delicately….? Kenny, you are a pathetic piece of shit who does not deserve to live under the blanket of freedom that you shit all over. If you’re hair was on fire, I’d piss on your leg. You are hereby cordially invited to pack your bags and move to any one of the countries that is not currently occupied by the Imperialist United States Military.

Leave your passport and citizenship at the border, please.

John Stuart Mill sums it up nicely:

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature, and has no chance of being free unless made or kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

You, Kenneth Thiesen are a miserable creature. And every single Soldier, Airman, Marine, and Sailor who is serving, has ever served, or will ever serve — is a better man or woman than you yourself will ever be.

When you read the crap put out by people like Kenneth Thiesen, all you can do is shake your head in disgust.

Personally, I am doing my best to make sure my children understand and never forget the sacrifices our men & women in uniform make for us.

I don’t want them to turn out like Kenneth Thiesen!

I recognize Thiesen’s right to exist, and steal oxygen.
Nothing more.
People like this are ingrates, unworthy of serious discussion.

Yesterday, director of national intelligence Mike McConnell participated in a foreign affairs symposium at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Md. This interesting exchange occurred between McConnell and Hopkins political science professor Dr. Stephen David:
*snip*

DR. DAVID: Again, just to clarify, if you felt the situation warranted it, you would us waterboarding, and you do believe in certain situations it’s effective and the only way of extracting information.

DIRECTOR McCONNELL: Were you listening?

DR. DAVID: Yeah, I listened to every word.

A brief note, he wasn’t listening, liberals never listen to that which they have been convinced is wrong.

Days since Mission Accomplished: 1780

Percentage of respondents, according to the Pew Research Center poll, who know how many Americans in uniform have died in Iraq since the invasion: 28%.

God. Bless. America.

Phony soldier alert!!

BERLIN, Germany (CNN) — German police in a Bavarian town shot and killed a U.S. soldier overnight after what appeared to be a violent domestic incident, local police said.

Police said the man was armed with a military-style M4 rifle, took his girlfriend hostage in her house and tied her up.

The woman fled and called police, who launched a search for the man.

Using night vision cameras from a helicopter, police were able to find the soldier, who was shot in Koenigsberg after he threatened the officers when they attempted to arrest him.

So Yoda, what about the other findings in that extensive study, especially in section five?
I’ll bet those same people wouldn’t have an accurate total of how many were killed in the WTC attack, or if they even knew the date.
To me, any loss of life in our Armed Forces is tragic, but it is the nature of war since the dawn of man.
One question that needs to be asked more often is, how many goat rapers have been killed in those 1780 days? That’s a number that should be included every time the number of deaths in our Armed Forces are mentioned.

That’s not a phony soldier alert, this is.

“Bush regime.” Those words are a sure clue that the writer is afflicted with BDS. Other phrases that indicate the presence of this sorry disease:

“Bushco”
“Bushitler”
“Zionist”
. . . well, you get the picture.

Kenneth Thiesen is so full of self righteous crap that I can smell him over the internet. The world would be better if the US military just stayed at home? It wouldn’t be long before we can’t get oil due to islamofascists. Then our industry shuts down and massive lay-offs occur and depression hits the country.

By the way, have you noticed how high gas prices have gone, unemployment has risen and foreclosures have increased since the democraps took control?

Considering all the Marines involved in Haditha have been exonerated but one, who is the liar now. Typical Commie, repeat the lie until everyone believes it. I hear Canada loves people like our esteemed Kenneth, PLEASE LEAVE.

Got something you want to say?
