Biker chicks at Thunder on the ColoradoThe 2nd Annual Thunder on the Colorado biker rally starts today at noon in Smithville, Tx.

It’s a 3-day rally down beneath the giant Live Oak trees on the banks of the Colorado River, about 50 miles south east of Austin. I’ll be down there all day today, and will probably stick around for the 6:00 pm biker parade through “downtown” Smithville.

Rumor has it that Brad Pitt, who is currently in Smithville filming Tree of Life (with co-star Sean Penn), has his custom Harley Davidson here with him and might be in the parade.

I think my wife wants to ride out there tomorrow, too.

So, blogging will be light this weekend while I enjoy our 90 degree, sunny weekend. I’ll post pictures and recaps later.

Have a good’un!
Maybe that BarBeQue joint will be open.

Light or nonexistent?
Y’all sure must be having a good’un.

You’ve seen the weather here in Texas this weekend…

Why on earth would I spend any extra time in front of a computer when I could be out riding?

But, yeah. It’s been a great weekend.

Henh.
Just pokin’ atcha with a pointy stick.
Y’all have the right idea.
The Bluebonnet Trail should make for some nice riding in the next few weeks, also.

so where are the pics of Brad Pitt?

A good piece on Tales of Winter Soldier II.

Winter Soldiers II is an example of much ado about nothing. No wonder the mainstream press, for the most part, steered clear. Perhaps the preemptive work of groups like Gathering of Eagles, Move America Forward and Vets For Freedom, who made it clear to all involved that our men and women in uniform today would not have to wait a lifetime to have their reputations and honor protected from liars and charlatins, kept them from vomiting the bile that the VVAW felt so embolden to do in 1971.

Got something you want to say?
