So, over the weekend the Barack Obama / Rev. Jeremiah Wright fiasco continued to unfold.

Barack “disavowed” those particular controversial comments (without ever specifically naming them) that he disagreed with. He “disappeared” the Rev. from his campaign and his web site.

And the best part was Barack’s bold-faced lie to America — when he claimed that, in the 20 years that he’s been attending the race-hustling, white-American hating, radical Trinity United Church — in all that time, he never heard a single one of these anti-American, racist, bigoted, asinine, or hate-filled sermons from Rev. Wright.

Either Obama is lying about his stellar church attendance, or he’s lying about what he knew and when he knew it.

Of course, it’s not taking the blogosphere to come up with numerous examples of Obama making comments about the controversial nature of Rev. Wright’s particular brand of “preaching”, or accounts of him actually at some of these sermons he claims to never have heard.

Bottom line? Barack knows and has always known full well what kind of church he was attending. He’s always known about Rev. Wright’s anti-America, anti-white people hate speech. And he made the decision to associate himself — very closely — with that hate for 20 years.

So, you Obamaniacs can buy the lie if you want to. The rest of us know better. We know that he lied.

Between this and the earmarks for his wife, this hasn’t been a good week for Obama. Not to mention, that Obama admitted that indicted political fixer and close friend Tony Rezko was a much, much bigger campaign contributor than Barack had earlier said he was (to the tune of $250K). Another lie from Obama.

I would not doubt, when we look back in November, that this was the week that started his downward spiral.

Where were the Obamas the first Sunday after 9/11? Their silence on the matter indicates to me that they were in the audience when Rev. Jerry and his followers were yucking it up over the fact America had been attacked and innocent people had died. Fuck both of them. When you think about Obamas other behaviors, it all makes sense. Then there is his wife’s whining about how hard it is to get by on a 1.7 million income.

This is just an excuse for the red necks to rile up the weak minded swing voters. It’s pretty pathetic. If thats the way Americans want to behave, perhaps you deserve to be left behind in the world when China out grows you, because thats what will happen with a Republican White House and with Clinton in charge you’ll be even more isolated. All politicians lie (like Clinton pretending she had something to do with the end of the troubles in Northern Ireland- sitting in a room a few times while grown ups talked isn’t taking part), get over it, the point is you’re supposed to pick the least bad out of a bad bunch. And on virtually every issue (except obvious good conservative vaules like low taxation) Barack Obama is the least bad out of a bad bunch. With a Republican White House, you have idiotic religious values infecting political descisions, with Clinton you will have mega corruption and sleeze and with Barack Obama you will have some comments made by some other guy who’s now out of the picture. Get over it.

You get over it, jackass. Someone who doesn’t get his ass up and out of a pew where the reverend and his followers express glee over 9/11 is not fit to be president.

newsflash moron: china needs not “out grow” us; they’ve had about a billion more people for about the last decade. it’s no surprise that a commie sees obama as the “least bad”, but your half-assed assesment is about as informed as it is welcome.
just for future reference, while i’m not deeply religious, i’m not stupid enoughg to make broad ridiculous comments about how “idiotic religious values” are and then expect people to care what i think. i am also observant enough to know folks who value spirituality at all, will consider this news. after all, obamas spirituality will play a large role in what sort of leader he would be.

We’re almost in a perfect storm. The economy is in bad shape as far as necessities are concerned and tensions are high. Illegals are everywhere and calling everybody who even dares discuss enforcing the law as racist. The Obama church issue is hotter than a firecracker and is flaming the fires of racial hatred in those already predisposed to hate one another and raising the eyebrows of everybody else.

If we get through this election without race riots, I’ll be surprised.

[Editor -- I think you're right Dianne. Though, I'll bet you the race rioting is confined to two specific races doing all the rioting.]

When is the last time there was a convention where the left didn’t riot? [crickets] I doubt any more blacks, than normally do, will join them this time. If one group of people are going to use the fact that their candidate did not get the nomination to loot and burn electronic stores, fuck them.

Got something you want to say?
