Barack had another endorsement that should be cause for pause — especially in light of his recent Rev. Wright fiasco.

From Nice Deb we learn that not only has the New Black Panther Party endorsed Sen. Barack Obama, but that the Obama campaign is so gosh-darned proud of it, that they’ve posted the endorsement on the official Obama campaign Web site:

The racist NBPP is led by notorious extremist, Malik Zulu Shabazz, and is a registered team member and blogger on Obama’s campaign website.

Now, I fully understand that a candidate can’t control who supports and endorses them. But how the candidate chooses to embrace that endorsement is telling.

____

A little background on the NBPP:

  • Their formal name is the New Black Panther Party for Self-Defense, which is a black supremacist organization founded in Dallas, Texas in 1989.
  • The NBPP attracted many breakaway members of the Nation of Islam, mostly because the NoI wasn’t militant enough…
  • The NBPP says it sees capitalism as the fundamental problem with the world and “revolution” as the solution
  • The NBPP “Million Youth March” ended in scuffles with the NYPD as Muhammad urged the crowd to attack officers who had attempted to confiscate the NBPP members’ guns. Chairs and bottles were thrown at the police
  • The NBPP provoked a melee outside of Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney’s campaign headquarters after she had lost a Democratic primary to her opponent, Hank Johnson.

Now that Obama has been called out on his Christian preacher, do you still think he’s a Muslim stalking horse?

I have always thought and still do that BHO has unacceptable sympathies with muslims.

I still think he is a stealth muslim. His refusal to disavow the former NoI member, Wright, and the number of NoI members that still work for his Senate staff, as well as his election campaign, are not indicative of one uncomfortable with islam. Calling his church a Christian church is a bit of a stretch. The rhetoric coming from it’s leaders, as well as the support shown by it’s congregation, is very similar to the nuttiness espoused by the NoI.

He sure is widely embraced by Islamic countries, mosques, Imams, and other Muslims around the US and the world.

I’m not sure why or what that says. But it doesn’t give me the warm fuzzies…

Are you KIDDING me?

So you’re telling me that if you find Bill Clinton or Mel Gibson’s profile on Myspace, for example, that there’s no doubt in your mind that these are really the same people? Dude, are you kidding me? ANYONE can pretend to be ANYONE on http://www.barackobama.com! ANYONE! People can and DO make fake profiles. Believe me, we’ve had our fair share of trolls on the site.

Show me a link to where the NBPP publicly endorses Barack on their independant website. Then, I’ll believe you.

Oh yeah, and show me a screen shot of where the Obama campaign publicized and posted the “official endorsement” that you’re talking about. If this is what your moronic ass is thinking, no, we do NOT control or create our users profiles.

This is an absolute JOKE.

YES WE CAN!

[Editor --- No. You can't. And No, you won't.]

The New Black Panthers, who inherited their name from the Black Panther Party of the 1960s, had the page on the Obama campaign’s public forums. The group’s message said it is backing Obama because he “represents ‘positive change’ for all of America. Obama will stir the ‘Melting Pot’ into a better ‘Molten America.’”

Malik Zulu Shabazz, who has led the group since 2001, told FOX News the Obama campaign’s reaction to the endorsement was understandable.

“That’s politics. That’s politics, and that’s fine,” he said.

Source.
There you go Lace, it wasn’t difficult. Ever hear of google?
You have your slogan, and I have mine.
JUST SAY NO TO B-HO!

One of the other writer’s on Highbrid Nation did a nice post talking about the Black Panthers endorsing Barack and what this means in light of the Rev. Wright controversy. Honestly I’m feeling like the panthers are doing Barack a disservice for even making such and anouncement. Between Rev. Wright and the Panthers I’m starting to feel like black people may be responsible for Barack not getting elected when it’s all said and done.

Endorsement from the New Black Panthers…..

Oh yeah….that’s gonna help.

Hitlery must be dancing a jig…….but I don’t want her winning either.

OMG, John McCain endorsed Obama, too!

It must be real because it’s only mybarackobama.com just like the Black Panther page was!

WOW!

Nice try, Kelly, but if you try to post a webpage on the obama site, you get a message stating it has to be approved by the obama campaign first. Any other bullshit you want to spin?

PEACE TO EVERYONE,

JUST A LITTLE TRUTH ABOUT THE NBPP. THE NBPP IS NOT A BLACK SUPREMEST ORGANIZATION NOR IS IT A RACIST ORGANIZATION. THE NBPP BELIEVES IN BLACK NATIONALISM, REVOLUTIONARY PAN - AFRICANIST IDEOLOGY. WHICH, IN LAY TERMS SIMPLY TRANSLATES TO THE BELIEVE THAT AFRICANS AROUND THE WORLD SHOULD WORK TOWARDS EMPOWERMENT THROUGH SELF SUFFIENCY. THAT AFRICANS (BLACKS PEOPLE OR PEOPLE OF AFRICAN DESCENT), ALL OVER THE WORLD SHOULD UNITE ON THE UNDERSTANDING OF OUR OPPRESSIVE STATE ON THIS DIASPORA, PLAN, DEVELOP AND WORK DILIGENTLY TOWARDS MAKING CERTAIN THAT OURSELVES, OUR CHILDREN AND OUR GRANDCHILDREN HAVE A PLACE IN THIS CRUEL WORLD. THE NBPP IS NOT ABOUT HATE. IT IS ABOUT A STRONG LOVE AND SACRIFICE FOR THE AFRICAN NATION. EVERY TIME AFRICAN PEOPLE DECIDE THAT WE DON’T WANT TO BE SUBSERVIENT THEN WE ARE CALLED RACIST. YOU CAN NOT BE RACIST IF YOU DON’T HAVE THE ECONOMICS TO DO SO. THEREFORE, LET US NOT SPEAK OF THAT WHICH WE DO NOT KNOW OR THAT WE ONLY HEAR FROM MAIN STREAM MEDIA WHICH WILL NEVER PROPERLY PORTRAY ANY PROGRESSIVE AFRICAN ORGANIZATION IN THE LIGHT OF WHAT IT REALLY IS IF THAT ORGANIZATION DOES NOT WISH TO ORGANIZE BY MAIN STREAM STANDARDS. THE KKK HAS ENDORSED OBAMA AND NO ONE TO THAT TO HEART!!! THE KKK GAVE $250,000 TO OBAMA’S CAMPAIGN AND NO ONE HAS QUESTIONED HIS “DEALINGS” WITH THEM. YOU ALL WANT TO TALK ABOUT RACISM, TALK ABOUT THAT DOUBLE STANDARD.

TAKE CARE & GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT

Fajr
I call BullShit on what the NBPP stands for, just ask the Southern Poverty Law Center, or the Anti-Defamation League.
The KKK donated to B-HO? Interesting, if true, it only shows that haters and racists stick together. Did B-HO keep the money? Or is that a double standard we shouldn’t question?
Oh, and cap lock posting is unimpressive.

The KKK doesn’t have 25 cents let alone $250k to donate to anyone. lol!

I agree with the writer who states that black people needs some self empowerment. He is correct in stating that black organizations don’t get the proper press. I live in Brooklyn, and the N.B.P.P. has been always been a positive force for the children and a good role model for the youth. They do not preach hate, but more of the truth teachings that we don’t get 2 hear 2 often. I am not black but I do follow their movement. They had a strong controversial leader before their current chairman took over. The words spoken by that man were like those of Malcom X!
I see why they murdered him. Obama should embrace his “security”….cause if he does win: he’ll need it!

From my link above.

The NBPP is identified as an extremist hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center, a tolerance education organization. The Anti-Defamation League calls NBPP “the largest organized anti-Semitic black militant group in America. … Under Shabazz, the group continues to organize demonstrations across the country that blend inflammatory bigotry with calls for black empowerment and civil rights.”

The NBPP lists on its Web site a 10-point plan for full employment for black Americans as well as housing, education, free health care and an end to the death penalty.

In addition, it demands slavery reparations, the release of all black prisoners from American jails, trials of blacks only by all-black juries, an end to all black cooperation with police departments, exemption for blacks from the all-volunteer U.S. military and a separate country for African-Americans.

The people that subscribe to this anti-American organization have my blessing and best wishes, if they want to carry their butts to another country.
They are not owed anything more than any other American, and if they don’t view themselves as Americans, and want to promote their separatist agenda, I’ll hold the door open for them to leave.

The words spoken by that man were like those of Malcom X! I see why they murdered him.

Malcom X was murdered by members of the Nation of Islam in a petty rivalry over power. Are you suggesting that Obama should watch out for Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton because they might murder him?

This country may have it’s problems, but electing a president with ties to hate groups and groups that preach some form of racial supremacy over others is NOT what we need. Yeah, we need a change alright…but that change isn’t going to arrive if we keep electing double-talking politicians over people who really intend to make a difference!

I just want to know; if the NBPP is not about hate and racism, then what’s the deal with the AK-47’s? Always the weapon of choice for communist backed turd world nations, huh? And why is it Africa still has some of the most backward nations in the world after all these centuries? When is the last time anyone has heard of long standing peace over there? Want to make a change? Want your own nation? Go over there and see how your urban BS rhetoric works on some warlord’s goon squad, maybe they will give you a piece of their pie…or more likely end up in pieces after they are done hacking you up with their machetes! So much for self-governance.

Got something you want to say?
