UPDATED to add contact information for the cowardly principle of Forest Lake High School, Steve Massey, who buckled to unhinged, anti-military parents:

If you are outraged by this, please feel free to let him know. If you do contact him, please be polite and respectful. But make your feelings well known. If you are a veteran, make sure Mr. Massey knows that you do not believe his lie of “supporting the troops.”
________
Reason 1,899 that I hate the anti-military Left.
The National Heroes Tour is in Minneapolis today, where they were supposed to speak at Forest Lake High School:
“The event was structured to be an academic classroom discussion around military service. We thought we’d provide an opportunity for kids to learn about service in the context of our history classes,” [Principle Steve] Massey said.
However, the Left-wing lunatic parents couldn’t have their children be subjected to the patriotism of brave veterans. So what did they do? What does the Left always do? Shut down the message that they disagree with (in this case, the messages that they disagree with are patriotism and honor. I can see why they wouldn’t want their kids to learn about those things).
So some “several” angry unhinged parents were able to have the event canceled:
This is Pete Hegseth’s High School and he had personally arranged for a non-partisan event where students could hear from the vets and ask them questions about their service. This so offended the delicate sensibilities of the usual suspects that they began hassling the Principal and threatening protests...
[snip]
“As the day progressed, it became clear that this was becoming a political event … which would be inappropriate in a public setting.”
As BlackFive points out, “The only politicization of the event came from the anti-military activists and their need to censor any message that shows the military and the war in anything but a negative light.”
Fucking ungrateful pieces of shit.
I hope that their kids, when they turn 18, decide to decide for themselves. I hope their kids go seek out the advice of a military recruiter. I hope their kids join up on the spot and within weeks are shipped off to basic training or boot camp. I hope they have long, distinguished careers as officers — non-commissioned and otherwise — in the Marine Corps or US Army.
And I hope, for those parents, it either 1) awakens an honest and sincere respect and admiration for all the men and women of our military, or 2) drives them bat-shit-insane wondering “where did we go wrong?”

Bet they invite and allow to speak that brave mother killer Kathy Soliah.
