I know he’s only 16-years old, but David Archuleta? I want to punch him in the mouth every time I see him. Throw some Mickey Mouse ears on that kid, throw in some balloons and white doves — and you have a perfectly manufactured little singer.

My favorite contestant from this year is Brooke White, though I doubt she’ll win. I like the way she connects with her music, and female folk/alternative-country singers comprise a big part of my music library.

If I had to pick the winner, and perhaps the only real star in the making, it would be David Cook.

His version of Billie Jean last night was one of my favorite American Idol performances this season. I like his version better than Michale Jackson’s original, and a bit more than Chris Cornell’s version, which he copied.

The original Billie Jean is one of my fav songs, but Cook knocked the ball out of the park last night with his version. I hope he wins.

David Cook is the one to beat

David Cook is the one that without question should win Idol. I totally agree Archuleta is a major bore…and the Mickey Mouse ears sounds about right too.

Got something you want to say?
