DJ Augustine posterizing Robin Lopez

The PAC 10 really hates playing the University of Texas in big-time college sports as of late.

I think Matt Lienert still cries Burnt Orange tears during his Rose Bowl nightmares.

And now, Stanford’s twin Latin towers — the androgynously named Brook and Robin Lopez — will have a lifetime of nightmares about the quicker, tougher, more talented squad in Burnt Orange.

But #1 seed UCLA could have told their in-state rivals that from earlier experience.

So, after Texas thumped The Cardinal Pine Trees by 20 ho-hum points, we’ll be moving on to the Elite Eight and a match up against 1-loss Memphis.

I heard that Davidson and UT had a locked door scrimmage before the season began, and according to the UT coach, it was a tremendous experience for his team.
They could meet again, with all the world watching this time, although it gets no easier. A&M came close to beating UCLA, and Miss State was a basket away from beating MSU.

Hunh?
Has this ever happened before…all four number one seeds go to the final four???

[Editor --- Nope. This is the first time ever in the history of the tourney. On the plus side, I'm hoping that DJ Augustine and Damion James have such a bad taste from today's loss and their individual performances that they'll be back next year.]
