The last paragraph from an article on Town Hall, by George Will is very telling about how liberals view "our money"...

In 2000, brows were furrowed in perplexity because Vice President Al Gore's charitable contributions, as a percentage of his income, were below the national average: He gave 0.2 percent of his family income, one-seventh of the average for donating households. But Gore "gave at the office." By using public office to give other peoples' money to government programs, he was being charitable, as liberals increasingly, and conveniently, understand that word.

I agree with Dianne about McPain. It will be hard. We have a choice between Adolf Obama and Hillary Stalin on the other side... Lord!
And with the info coming out from "real science" over the weekend... we are experiencing a cooling trend, NOT a warming trend (over the last 10 years or so...), I'd say McPain didn't do his homework and keep up while he was in the M.E. He's scary but... any damage he does, can be fixed by the next guy... can't say the same for the other two.

Amen to that, Robbie. The greedy lenders did play a role, lending to people who couldn't even read English (ahem) but I don't have a lot of mercy for people who can't control their finances or think they can bet the farm that they're gonna make a bunch of cash but when they don't, expect me to pay for it.

No2 - I just heard a bit of McCain's speech, enough to hear him going on about global warming - I tell ya it's gonna be hard for me to pull the lever for that guy, but the alternative is unthinkable.

While this speech from yesterday was good, wait until you hear or read the transcript from the one he gave today.
He must have been reading a speech that John Effing Kerry wrote.
