On the question of whether or not the Obamas are “elitists” (right after she — surprise, surprise — played the race card):
Well, what’s the matter is the Democrats are an elitist group. That’s the truth.
She’s right of course. But that doesn’t make her any less of an idiot.
Like her friend and fellow panelist, Liz Smith, (how utterly embarrassing that she went to the University of Texas) who wants to make sweat, sweat sweaty love to Michelle and Barack Obama, who opined:
But do I think the Obamas are intellectual elitists, probably. They’re smarter than the rest of us.
I nearly blew Diet Dr. Pepper through my nostrils when I read that.
I like how our country’s war on education has led to someone who comes from a good family, is well-educated, and well-spoken being labeled an “elitist”.
If that’s an elitist then call me an elitist. Call anybody I would want to be President an elitist.
[Editor --- John, it's because he looks down his nose and condecends to those many more who don't come from great homes, aren't well educated, and are not as well spoken that makes him an elitist. It's because he thinks that it's his advanced schoolin' that he's not had to "turn to guns and god" in bitterness --- that's what makes him an elitist. It's his attitude that our country is broken and only HE can save our souls --- that makes him an elitist. His views against capitalism in the face of his extreme wealth earned on the very system he denounces for everybody else --- that makes him an elitist.
I don't look on any of these elitist traits with anything but contempt for the man and his ilk.]
