A couple of student Leftwing Environmental Whackos decided that free speech doesn’t apply to those with whom they disagree.

New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman was getting ready to start a lecture (on the environment) at Brown University when two students rushed the stage and one of the (some as of yet unidentified bitch) students threw a pie at Friedman.

There’s nowhere I know of where that is not assault.

The couple referred to themselves as “Greenwash Guerillas”.

I refer to them as fucking morons.

Sadly, almost every time a prominent conservative is invited to speak on a university campus — especially at the effete Ivy League schools — they are physically assaulted, heckled relentlessly, or shouted down.

“One of the offenders was apprehended, placed in the custody of the Brown Department of Public Safety and identified as a Brown student,” University spokesman Michael Chapman said in a statement released Tuesday night. “The University will review this incident through its non-academic disciplinary system to determine the appropriate response.”

Even though Friedman did not wish to press charges (he should have — these students should be legally punished for breaking the law), there is only one “appropriate response” from Brown University — immediate and permanent expulsion.
