I’ve written about convicted death row murderer Charles Dean Hood on several occasions since June of 2005.
This initial post has over 450 comments — many from the victims’ family, many more from the pan pals and groupies of Charles Dean Hood and other condemned killers.
Charles even took the time out of his busy “23-hours per day locked in his cell” time to write me a personal letter.
I’ve even received very thinly-veiled threats (physical and legal) from Hood’s brother and sister-in-law.
I’ve also grown to be friends with the sister of one of Hood’s victims (Tracie Lynn Wallace).
So, you might say, I have a vested interest in this case.

Right after the Supreme Court of the United States upheld Kentucky’s lethal injection protocols — which are the same protocols used here in Texas — Charles Dean Hood was given a new date with the gurney: June 17, 2008.
I’ve been in touch with Tracie’s sister, who lives in Michigan, and she plans on being here for the execution to get some measure of closure.
She’s asked me to be in Huntsville to support her on the date of the execution, and I’ve agreed.
Hood has had one scheduled execution date (June 30, 2005) come and go since his he murdered Roland Williamson, 40, and his 26 year-old girlfriend, Traci Lynn Wallace in Plano, TX in 1990.
On June 17, justice will finally be served. May his soul rot in hell.
This is his 3rd time up with a date with the gurney……. you know what they say……. 3rd times a charm!
Finally justice will be served.
