unexploded ordinance

As the price of metal continues to rise, so has the rate of theft of aluminum, brass, and copper. And now thieves are targeting military bases where they are stealing brass casings and unexploded ordnance.

These thieves are not only risking their own lives, but they are costing the US Military hundreds of thousands of dollars in lost training time.

And guess who is doing most of the stealing? That’s right. Illegal immigrants.

Stealing the metal that Americans are too lazy to steal.

_____

Personally, I think that the military should change their policy to halt training exercises when these thieves interrupt them. Instead, the military should make them a part of the exercise. A live target, if you will. If you want to stop people from stealing from the military bases, just put a few rounds from an AH-1 Super Cobra on them.

I can’t tell what the illegal on the left is holding, but illegal on the right is holding an artillery projectile. Just our luck it is a training round.
I don’t think we should blow them up or waste good 30mm rounds on them, the K9 units sure could use some good OJT, though.
Oh, and for medics and the city council it is “ordinance,” but in military patois, it is ordnance.
