I don’t like Sen. Ted Kennedy. At all.

I think he’s a vile human, guilty of killing a young woman and never owning up to or taking responsibility for it. And that alone is unforgivable in my book.

When I heard that the 76-year old Senator went to the hospital with what was thought to be a stroke, I really didn’t care — I don’t care what happens to that man. I don’t care if he gets better or worse. Or just stays the same.

I’m not wishing ill on the man — I just don’t care what happens to him. Though in general, I think this advice from Senator Thomas Hart Benton (via Rhymes with Right) is the right tact to take:

When God Almighty lays his hand upon a man, sir, I take mine off, sir.

I had the same initial reaction, I felt nothing for this person.
Then as the death watch on all the cable news services ran out of gas, and they changed their tune to it was “seizures,” I had a different reaction.
If he had seizures, and it occurred around 9a.m. on a Saturday, I have a theory as to what happened. He was watching Saturday morning cartoons, and found some Japanese anime that induces seizures.
Mystery solved!

I thought the Peoples Cube might have something to say about this person, and I was right.

Let’s face it: He’s a grossly obese alcoholic and should have stroked out decades ago. Apparently, he is doing okay. Though, I don’t completely trust his handlers to tell the public the truth. Can you imagine if it were a republican how the press would be demanding to see the medical records?

In light of today’s news, I still feel nothing.
My thoughts are that his brain tumor certainly explains a great deal about his behavior, and that liberalism is indeed a mental disorder.

Got something you want to say?
