My dogs took the day off from guarding our backyard from the tyranny and scavenging of our resident squirrels.
Which allowed them to raid the “squirrel-proof” bird feeders:


I usually grease the bird feeder pole with white lithium grease to keep the squirrels off the feeders — it’s hysterical to watch them jump up on the pole only to slide back down like it’s a fire pole.

I’m going to have to tell my husband about that…he finally gave up on bird feeders because of those flying rats.
