I know most of you are already reading Rachel Lucas on a daily basis — but in case you don’t, go read this post, which I promise will make you smile (has to do with the happy and wise-beyond-their-years kids that live in her neighborhood).
When little kids talk like geezers it’s because they are mimicking the speech of adults. They will pick up words and phrases and even copy the intonations. It’s how they learn speech. And it freaks people out!
