Thank goodness for the second amendment:

A roofer fatally shot a suspected robber Sunday, only minutes after the man shoved a pistol in his back in the parking lot of a southeast Houston town house complex.

Identified by his employer as Juan Ibarra, the roofer was hitching a trailer to his pickup about 9 a.m. when the suspected robber moved up behind him, police said.

Ibarra “was ordered to go around to the cab of the truck and give him his money,” said Ramon Cervantes, a Houston police homicide detective.

The man grabbed Ibarra’s wallet and cell phone, then began walking away. Police said he stopped after noticing that some cash had fallen to the pavement.

That’s when Ibarra pulled out his revolver and fired at least three times, police said.

The man was struck in the left chest area and fell to the ground, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The best part of this story — well besides the thug would-be robber ending up dead?

Police said Ibarra has a license to carry a concealed handgun.

Ibarra was not charged in the fatal shooting.

As it should be.

Thanks Mr. Ibarra.
You ended a criminal career that would have caused much grief for many people.

So, you are more concerned with a stupid logo on Google than getting your precious soldiers who are fighting this war a decent GI Bill. Why don’t you blog/think about something that matters! Meanwhile those evil liberals are fighting to get a raise & GI Bill for these soldiers, fighting against Republican/Corporate GREED!

[Editor --- Uh huh. You keep spinning the truth until it fits your worldview, RFtR.

Their are two truths that you are not aware of or are simply avoiding: 1) the current crop of Veterans educational benefits are already pretty damned good. I know, I used them to complete my BS less than 10 years ago. 2) The GOP isn't against increasing the GI Bill benefits. They just don't believe that the plan proposed by the Donks is the best plan. The head of the VA doesn't like the Dems plan either, and doesn't believe it is the best plan for today's Soldiers. The GOP does have their own plan for increasing the benefits...a plan worked out with the input of Soldiers and the VA, not just on the misguided posturing of the Dems.

What's wrong with Corporate greed anyway? Are you against Corporations maximizing their profits?]

Got something you want to say?
