Sen. Kennedy Diagnosed with Malignant Brain Tumor

Kennedy Family

I would not wish this on anybody. Not for my worst enemies nor the most vile murderers (though for many of them, a quick and sudden death would suit me fine).

I don’t like Sen. Ted Kennedy, and don’t really care much about his health. But I surely do not wish the man to suffer. A malignant brain tumor is horrible news.

There’s no word yet on how advanced or debilitating his tumor is yet — but I can’t imagine being him and not dropping everything else…yes, to include being a U.S. Senator — to be with my family, to see to my treatment, and to fully enjoy my remaining time on this planet.

Whatever mark Sen. Kennedy was going to leave…whatever his legacy…it has already been cemented.

  1. Horrible news.
I wouldn’t wish that on anyone either.

But I was wondering how much he really enjoyed being a senator.
Maybe doing something he really enjoys IS being a senator.
    Don’t really know.
I agree with you, Rob……he should take off and be with his family.

  3. Ok, so I’ll be the low, crude and crass asshole:

“Mary Jo Kopechne was unavailable for comment…”

Now, that being said, my wife and my mother both work in cancer clinics. My wife as a medical assistant, Mom as an RN. The Senator is in for the most painful, debilitating, degrading and disgusting time of his life.

    Good luck Ted.

  4. It’s just like drowning, only it takes longer, and is more painful.
