At the 62-minute mark, Pelosi slandered and demeaned the hard-won successes of our armed forces in Iraq, saying “Whatever the military success and progress that may have been made, the surge didn’t accomplish its goal. And some of the success of the surge is that the goodwill of the Iranians — they decided in Basra when the fighting would end, they negotiated that cessation of hostilities — the Iranians.”
The surge is working — victory over al Qaeda in Iraq is nearly complete and the fledgling Iraqi government is making rapid progress (shhhh…dont’ tell Obama. He still thinks losing is the only option).
And there are really only two reasons why the surge is working — 1) US might and determination, and 2) the will of the Iraqi people.
Iran has zero to do with the success of the surge. And for Speaker Pelosi to say that it does does nothing but take away the real and hard earned credit of our troops and the Iraqi people — the ones fighting and dying for victory.

She is completely unbelievable about anything.
She also said she was going to “drain the swamp” and run the “most ethical Congress in history.”
Yeah…unh-hunh.
