Chuck Norris (yeah, that Chuck Norris) has written a great piece (posted at Town Hall) on the following three surprises awaiting Sen. Barry Obama in Iraq (if he decides to ever actually visit the country again):

  • Surprise No. 1: The surge really did work.
  • Surprise No. 2: War is not reflected accurately in the news.
  • Surprise No. 3: All of our service members are absolutely amazing heroes.

Perhaps if Obama were willing to go to Iraq and see for himself the successes that are so obvious to everybody who has gone…

Or at the very least, if he would at least meet with the Generals who are leading the success…

But he won’t. He’s too busy formulating how he’ll turn this near victory into a defeat as quickly as he can.

And how he’ll meet — not with General Petraeus, but with the terrorist leaders of our enemies.

Not only is Obama unfit to be Commander in Chief, he’s utterly undeserving of leading the brave men and women who deserve much better than Barry.

Will he or won’t he?
I think he will eventually go, and probably acknowledge the gains, but still try and decide who he should surrender to.

I don’t think Barry Obama will go to Iraq again.

If he did go, he would have to admit to successes by the US military.

His anti-war, surrender-monkey handlers would not like that.

A. Obama has been to Iraq [Editor --- Once. Before the surge. The same surge he refuses to admit is succeeding.]
B. Obama is planning to return to Iraq this summer [Editor --- I didn't realize that you were on Obama's campaign staff or travel logistics team...]
C. Strolling through Baghdad markets with 100 soldiers and 2 helicopters for protection did not give John McCain anything more than an opportunity to lie about what he saw. [Editor --- Really? Because of all the candidates running for President. Ever. John McCain is the last one who is afraid of going into a war zone. But put that aside --- do you really expect our Senators and Congressman to imbed with front line troops? Go on door-to-door search missions? Do you really think Barry Obama will have any less security than McCain has when he goes? Do you really think that Barr will venture out any further than the tarmac of the green zone?]

Got something you want to say?
