On the same day that Barry Obama’s good friend and real estate adviser Tony Rezko was indicted on a bunch of corruption charges in Chicago, Obama gets the good news that another equally crooked and corrupt Democrat has endorsed him:

On a day that Sen. Barack Obama moved closer to clinching the Democratic presidential nomination, embattled Rep. William Jefferson, D-New Orleans, Tuesday became the first of Louisiana’s four Democratic congressional members to back his candidacy.

Funnier is that the same day that Rezko was indicted so was Jefferson’s sister, brother, and niece, who were indicted on fraud charges.

Maybe all those folks would have been better off if they would have had Obama On Their Shoulder.

It’s the weekend, time for Mark Steyn.

The short version of the Democratic Party primary campaign is that the media fell in love with Barack Obama but the Democratic electorate declined to.

The weekend is off to a good start.

Got something you want to say?
