Barry Obama promised earlier this year to accept public financing of his Presidential campaign “if John McCain” did too.
McCain has promised to do so, and has in fact taken the necessary steps to do so.
But once Barry and his handlers realized that they could raise more money by going outside of the system (he would be the first candidate since 1970 to refuse the public funds), he immediately flipped.
It’s almost as if he never said those words back in April.
In typical Barry-style, they can’t just be honest about what and why they are flip-flopping. Instead they twist and spin to somehow or another to make his dishonesty the GOP’s fault.
Cpt. Ed at Hot Air nails it:
The calculus is simple: Obama feels he can raise more money outside the system than he can get inside of it. He wants to blame McCain, the rain, the park, and other things, but it’s the money and nothing more. It’s a dishonest attempt to explain away Obama’s dishonesty.
And from Sister Toldjah:
One other thing has been made clear though all this as well: While Obama talks a big talk on the need for others to take personal responbility for their actions, he himself has shown little to no interest in it whenever it suits his political purposes.

So Robbie, are you a “grey suit”?
Suzanne…..you know, Richard Cartwright’s friend.
[Editor --- I'm not sure I understand the reference to a "grey suit"? And I'm not sure who Richard Cartwright is, either? Should I? Or are you referring to Richard Cartwright who was executed in Texas on May 19, 2005?]
