George Carlin is dead at 71. Died of heart failure.
Absolutely loved this guy.
He was a genius with words and forever proved that you can use curse words intelligently.
As an avid proponent of normalizing the word “fuck” (I use it all the time, in almost all situations — even have the word prominently printed on numerous t-shirts that I wear in public), I’m greatly appreciative of Mr. Carlin.
His most famous skit was probably the “Seven Words You Can’t Say on TV”:
And one of my favorites, “Baseball and Football”:
