I get the feeling that John Aravosis at (anti)AMERICAblog News is the kind of pathetic shell-of-a-man who would go to the Special Olympics to make fun of how the kids run.
He’s probably the kind of spineless coward who goes to anti-military rallies, hides in the crowd, and from the security of anonymity throws rocks through the recruiting station windows.
John’s the kind of pussy who’s never had the balls to put on the uniform, pick up a weapon, and stand a watch.
But that doesn’t stop him from questioning the heroism and bravery of those who have.
John Aravosis is the very definition of a miserable creature, who has no chance of being free unless made or kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
Men like Sen. John McCain.
In his latest smear against a man better than himself, Aravosis has the temerity to ask, “Honestly, besides being tortured, what did McCain do to excel in the military?”
As AJ Strata points out, “Liberals only care if terrorists are tortured, not if Americans are.”
First of all Avarosis, you slimy piece of shit — being tortured is far from “all” that Sen. John McCain did or accomplished in his 23-years of Naval service.
23 years, Avarosis.
23 years where McCain accomplished more and meant more to his country than you would be able to do in 5 lifetimes.
He was a Naval aviator. That alone is a greater accomplishment than anything you are even capable of. And that alone is more than anything Barry Hussein Obama has ever accomplished.
When the North Vietnamese found out that McCain’s father was a high ranking Admiral, they offered to repatriate him (release him from captivity). But McCain refused unless every single man captured before him was also released.
That takes more of a man and more of a true leader than anything Avarosis or Obama will ever be capable of.
AVarosis mocks McCain’s torture and derides him as being “disloyal” to the United States of America for making an “enemy propoganda video” while he was in captivity.
What “I’m a giant flaming pussy” Avarosis doesn’t mention, is that McCain’s video-taped confession came at the end of a severe program of torture that lasted 4 days — 4 days of severe beatings and rope bindings (at the same time as McCain was suffering from dysentery). The beatings and torture were so severe, that his injuries left him permanently incapable of raising his arms above his head.
To this day, McCain admits that his statement was dishonorable. But he says, “I had learned what we all learned over there: Every man has his breaking point. I had reached mine.”
I’d like to see (no, not figuratively, but literally) how Avarosis would have held up under the exact same circumstances. I somehow doubt it would have taken 4-days to break Avarosis.
Sen. McCain went on to have a full and accomplished military career after being released from Hanoi. His seventeen military awards and decorations include the Silver Star, Legion of Merit, Distinguished Flying Cross, Bronze Star and Navy Commendation Medal.
But I’m sure Avarosis doesn’t think much of those either.
There are a lot of small, pathetic, miserable creatures on the Left. Even so, John Avarosis has found a way to stand out amongst (beneath) them.
In the words of Rep. Bill Delahunt (D-MA) — I’m glad I finally know what John Avarosis looks like. Just in case.

The idea that McCain, who by all accounts, resisted the attempts of his captors to use him as a propaganda weapon despite a list of physical injuries that would have killed Aravosis and most normal men, somehow betrayed the country by finally reaching his physical and psychological limit of deliberately induced pain and succumbing is so despicable only someone fully versed in the politics of metaphorically sneaking into the bedrooms of opponents to spy on them could write it.

I agree, Uncle Jimbo — it’s nearly impossible for me to reach out to the left (without punching them in the pie hole, that is) for reasons just like this.
