		<description>The trouble with politicians is that, sadly, they all lie and stretch the truth to say what they think people want to hear.  Even Mr. McCain is not innocent of this behavior.

McCain said on 6/27/08:  “I’m happy to tell you that we probably agreed to an increase in educational benefits for our veterans that not only gives them increase in their educational benefits, but if they stay in for a certain period of time than they can transfer those educational benefits to their spouses and or children. That’s a very important aspect I think of incentivizing people of staying in the military.”

Hmmm...  I seem to remember Mr. McCain actually opposing the Webb-Hagel GI Bill, and, even more embarrassing, he didn&#039;t even show up to vote on it.

That&#039;s a bit different from &quot;probably&quot; agreeing, at least where I grew up.   In all honesty Robbie, I&#039;d be thrilled to see a candidate I could believe in - and at this point I&#039;d probably take one from either party.
