Glenn Reynolds thinks this picture of Cindy Sheehan campaigning at the steps of San Francisco’s City Hall is “sad.”

Sad Cindy Sheehan

Sad Cindy Sheehan

I don’t find it sad at all. The woman is a product of her own making. She’s reaping the shit that she has sown. She was played by the Liberal Media and the anti-war, anti-military goons on the Left. When she was no longer useful, she was discarded.

She just never seemed to get that particular memo, though.

And now she’s a walking joke. A caricature. A pathetic, and very lonely joke.

Probably the only thing more pathetic than Cindy in this picture is that woman holding the sign. I’ll bet she’s 7-kinds-of crazy, too.

______

From the San Francisco Citizen comments: “A delusional person that demeaned her son’s duty and sacrifice. This is her just deserts.”

Yep.

  1. Well, I’m just all tore up over this photo.

  2. Hopefully this is the miserable end to a miserable woman.

I don’t wish misery on anyone, but Cindy Sheehan deserves all she gets.

  3. She was played by the Liberal Media and the anti-war, anti-military goons on the Left.

Not that you care, but can I suggest that she was not ‘played’? She was at first heralded as a woman who lost her son at war and had the courage to say something about it. As she began to make common cause with petty tyrants and the like she was disowned. This doesn’t imply that anyone acted in bad faith- just that there was a temporary alliance that was soon overshadowed by Sheehan’s eccentric political leanings.

But that doesn’t help demonize your opponents so much…

  4. Cindy Sheehan along with Ralph Nader and most of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors is just further proof that the far left can equally be as goofy as the far right! She hasn’t got a chance in Hell in defeating Nancy Pelosi which is a good thing. I mean even in San Francisco there just are not that many crazy people…even if you include Market Street!

  5. Preston, you obviously don’t know how Sheehag was brought to the public. It was the John Effing Kerry campaign, leading to the 2004 election, that she was sought out and solicited for her story. She wasn’t the only one, a number of families of dead servicemen were approached by the J Effing K campaign, but slammed the door in their sorry faces for suggesting using their son’s/daughter’s death for partisan politics.
Yeah, she was played, used and abused, then cut loose, only she was now enamored by all of the attention.

  6. Very well put, Robbie. Keep up the excellent work here.

    A DFW area cop.
