Man of Unkown Color (despite multiple witnesses) Kills Two in Houston

Here’s what politically correct, afraid to offend people-who-aren’t-white reporting will get you:

HOUSTON — Pasadena police this morning are searching for a man who shot a couple to death and critically wounded a 16-year-old boy during what appears to have been a home-invasion robbery.

[Snip]

Witnesses reported seeing a man, believed to be in his 30s, leave the area with a silver semiautomatic gun in his left hand and carrying a trash bag.

Police said the trash bag contained three “long guns,” such as rifles or shotguns.

Two Houston Chronicle reporters contributed to this 300 word story — Jennifer Leahy and Ruth Rendon. Their were multiple witnesses who saw the man running from the house with three rifles and a handgun.

But no where in the story or the reporting did either one of these Dick Tracy’s bother to report the killers height, weight, hair color, or skin color.

Which means, more than likely, that he was black. But you can’t say that. Lest you bring down the wrath of Quanell X on your news station.

You know, if I lived in the area, and was told to be on the look out for an armed killer on the loose — I’d appreciate at least knowing what he looked like.

  1. Wow, why do you suppose there are all these white people in prison?:

Black males represented the largest percentage (35.4 percent) of inmates held in custody, followed by white males (32.9 percent) and Hispanic males (17.9 percent).”

Your near-daily exposes of black criminals and their pit bulls only magnifies your irrational fear of black hats.

  2. Uh, Pat, if I’ve read correctly, the increase in crime in Houston ISN’T from the refugees brought in from Iowa.

  3. I agree that the public should be warned when multiple sources confirm physical characteristics of a criminal. Yet the Chronicle is justly cautious in repeating descriptions from eyewitness- which are notoriously unreliable,

  4. Pat & Preston, You both make me sick to my stomach.
The murderer was either mexican or black. If he had been white, the barnicle would certinally have said so.
CBS Houston said be on the lookout for a man 5′10″ tall, weighing around 250 pounds. So far I’ve called the Pasadena police department 50,000 times.

Don, are you denying that eyewitness testimony has been proven to be unreliable?

As I mentioned I believe that if the newspaper had multiple IDs that it should go ahead with the description but there are valid reasons for the Chronicle to be hesitant.
