Proving that you don’t need much of an education to be a County Commissioner in Dallas County (TX):
County commissioners were discussing problems with the central collections office that is used to process traffic ticket payments and handle other paperwork normally done by the JP Courts.
Commissioner Kenneth Mayfield, who is white, said it seemed that central collections “has become a black hole” because paperwork reportedly has become lost in the office.
Commissioner John Wiley Price, who is black, interrupted him with a loud “Excuse me!” He then corrected his colleague, saying the office has become a “white hole.”
That prompted Judge Thomas Jones, who is black, to demand an apology from Mayfield for his racially insensitive analogy.
Mayfield shot back that it was a figure of speech and a science term. A black hole, according to Webster’s, is perhaps “the invisible remains of a collapsed star, with an intense gravitational field from which neither light nor matter can escape.”
John Wiley Price, you my friend, are a race-hustling ignorant asswipe. In fact, it seems the best term here would be black asshole.
The man thought the term was racist, because he really doesn’t know what a black hole is. Or how and why that term is common used as a figure of speech.
He probably thought Mr. Mayfield said something about “black ho’s”. A figure of speech much more commonly used in rap lyrics.
If anybody is owed an apology, it is Mr. Mayfield. For having to serve on the same council as Mr. Price.
Sad but true — we almost always end up with the government we deserve.

“It is better to sit and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt.”
Commissioner Price and Judge Jones have removed all doubt!
