David Almacy

Afternoon session II with David Almacy (the guy responsible for designing the current White House web site, and inventor of Barney Cam).

We’re discussing using social media to build online activism (yes, this is old hat to 1) young kids, 2) Liberals, and 3) only a handful of Conservatives) — things such as blogs (duh), video, user groups, wikis, podcasts, and consumer-generated content.

I’m attending this session specifically to learn about possible using Twitter to increase my online presence and build more traffic to my blog.
