As if getting to listen to former Maryland Lt. Governor Michael Steele give a remarkable speech during lunch wasn’t awesome enough, we were treated to fantastic and rousing speech from Michelle Malkin following Mr. Steele.

Just before her speech, I ran into Michelle in the lobby and quickly introduced myself. She was exceptionally gracious and told me that she had just been reading my blog this weekend to catch up on the DtheAD summit. She acted like she knew who I was, which was much cooler than I’m letting on.

Robbie and Michelle Malkin

Yeah. I was a bit star-struck.

And if that wasn’t awesome enough — I also was lucky enough to get in this picture with Dr. Melissa Clouthier, Michelle, and Kathleen (Right Wing Sparkle):

The theme of Michelle’s speech was “I Reject the MSM Narrative”, and she encouraged the Conservative bloggers and activists to do more.

_________

During Michelle’s speech, some of the Code Pinkos from the Nutrooters convention tried to barge into the ballroom (this was not a public event. Michelle was an invited speaker at a private event. But since when as manners, obeying the law, or common decency ever stopped a rabid moonbat?) to disrupt Michelle.

Thankfully the hotel staff reacted quickly to escort the freaks out before many people were aware they were even there.

They were on full parade at the Nutroots Nation convention though.

That’s amazing.

Two of my favorite Americans, and you got to listen to them speak…back to back.
Lucky a-hole!

[Editor --- Travis, enjoyed meeting you as well this weekend. I changed the Domain name above to RightInAustin.com (instead of ...onAustin). I hope to have the blog ready to go in about the next two weeks. And I'll start soliciting input from some local Conservative bloggers as to our mission, community standards, focus, etc.

I'll make sure to let you know. You can reach me at robbie@urbangrounds.com. ]

Michelle’s a rock star, and a great person to boot. Glad you got your pictures.

Got something you want to say?
