Jesse Jackson has been pushed out of the magical negro spotlight, and he’s not happy about it. Caught speaking his mind on a “hot mic”, Jackson was heard criticising Barry Obama…something about wanting to cut his nuts off.
Wow. Not taking your diminishing role in race-hustling politics easy are you, Jesse? Time to crawl off the cross, brother; Obama needs the wood.
Of course, once Jesse realized that he’d been busted saying what he really feels…well, the master rhetorician went to work spinning and apologizing, and within one quick minute turned it all back into a big race hustle, blaming whitey for his mistake:
“This is a sound bite in a broader conversation about urban policy and racial disparities. I feel very distressed because I’m supportive of this campaign and with the senator, what he has done and is doing,” he said. “I said he comes down as speaking down to black people. The moral message must be a much broader message. What we need really is racial justice and urban policy and jobs and health care. That’s a range of issues on the menu.
[snip]
My appeal was for the moral content of his message to not only deal with the personal and moral responsibility of black males, but to deal with the collective moral responsibility of government and the public policy which would be a corrective action for the lack of good choices that often led to their irresponsibility.
Uh huh. It’s the government’s fault that young black men have made bad choices in their lives…not their own fault. It was whitey and the gub’ment conspiring to keep the brothers down.
Every single black man in this country has options to better himself and get out of whatever poor environment he came from.
Or to rise above the very normal or exceptional place they came from.
Sorry, Jesse…but every single black man in this country has the choice to stay in school.
Every single black man in this country has the choice to not sell drugs (or use them either), not join a gang, and not knock up his high school baby momma only to never see her or the child again.
There are no government policies or laws that prohibit a black man from succeeding in this country. All they have to do is — to steal a slogan from Nike — Just Do It™.
Blaming the government for the “poor choices” made by young black men is an infinitely more offensive statement than anything Jesse said about Barry’s balls. Besides — silly Reverend — don’t you know that Barry keeps his balls safely tucked away inside of Michelle’s designer Prada handbag.

Jesse reminds me of the bull squirrel in the woods. As soon as he sees a young male squirrel growing a pair, he gnaws them off, so he is the only bull. Jesse’s territory has been violated, his bull reign is in jeopardy, thus his focus is on B-HO’s junk. Were it just he were unhappy or jealous, wouldn’t another reference have been more appropriate, than circumcision? Like…I oughta kick his a$$!
OOPS!
Fixed it.
