Barry in Berlin — I Am Not a Presidential Candidate

Even though it hasn’t rained here yet today, I drove my car to work (for only the 4th time this year so far).

On the way back from lunch, I was listening to Rush Limbaugh (one of the things I miss about riding my bike every day) when Barry Obama’s World Photo Op and Gaffefestâ„¢ Berlin speech was starting.

Barry started by thanking everybody under the moon for welcoming him to Berlin (except for his wife. No. Seriously. He didn’t thank his High Priestess. I’m sure he’ll hear about that later, though).

And then the very first words out of his mouth once he started his speech were — surprise, surprise — a lie.

“I stand before you today, not as Presidential candidate, but as a citizen. A citizen of the United States. And a citizen of the world.”

Uh…bullshit.

You are most definitely there as a Presidential candidate.

“Private citizens” don’t fill up an airplane with all of their media buddies and sycophants and go sight seeing around the globe talking about “when I’m Commander in Chief” and a host of other political issues and topics…

Barry really does believe he is already the President of the United States. And, by God (or Allah, if you will), he wants the rest of the world to know it too.

He then went on to play the race card in his very next statement — claiming that many other “citizens” (and by citizens, he clearly inferred “previous US President”) of our nation have came and stood before you. But that none of them “looked like me.”

Yeah, we get it Barry.

You’re half black.

And just barely man enough to fill up that giant empty suit you’ve been wearing almost your entire life.

Not a lot of cheering going on in Berlin during the speech though.

I didn’t listen to much more of it…my stomach was starting to churn and I didn’t want to lose the delicious lunch I’d just knocked down.

I’ll take a look at the transcript later and mock the great Obama later.

  1. Fox ran it live……I had to change the channel early on….I couldn’t stand the “I’m running for president of the world” speech.
    What a FOOL.

  3. You mean everyone didn’t hold hands, and sing We Are The World?
I was having a late lunch, and after getting my order, went into the dining room with the tv. It was probably on CNN, but regardless, B-HO was up there stuttering and stammering, so I made a quick about face, cursing his visage loudly, to which a number of people gave me a stern look, but said nothing. I went to the patio and enjoyed my lunch.
I was listening to Hugh Hewitt’s show on the way home, a repeat from earlier this afternoon, and Dean Barnett said even the most notable lefty blogs weren’t talking about his Berlin performance.

  4. Oh Man!
This is too rich. Found this story at Spiegel, and they report that, just like B-HO’s event in Portland, with a huge turnout, they had live bands to attract the crowd, before B-HO’s appearance.

++ Fan Mile Fills Up ++

6:14 p.m.: An hour to go before Obama’s speech and tens of thousands of people have already made their way to the Fan Mile. The visitors have to empty their bags and go through metal detectors similar to airport security checks.

++ Pop Concert for Obama Fans ++

6:33 p.m.: The tens of thousands of Obama fans are being entertained as they await the senator. The reggae musician Patrice kicked things off, followed by the rock band Reamonn.

++ Obama Makes His Way to Victory Column ++

7:02 p.m.: Obama leaves his hotel to make his way to the Victory Column, where he is to give his speech. Around 100,000 people are reported to be awaiting him there.

++ Obama Arrives at Victory Column ++

7:21 p.m.: Obama takes to the podium to cheers of “Yes, we can.”

He never finishes that last sentence, must be one of those coded fill in the blank messages.
Anyway, the media didn’t report the large crowd gathered for the free concert before B-HO spoke in Portland, and I will be surprised if they report the free concert in Berlin.
    What media bias?

I’m not sure I understand the rules- it’s ok to talk about your identity if you’re from Texas or a veteran but not if your father was an immigrant?

Immigrant? He was not an immigrant. He came to Hawaii as a foreign student, stayed long enough to knock up O’s mom and abandoned them, return to that hell hole he came from, and impose his marxist views on the people and make their miserable lives even more miserable.

  9. Amir Taheri has an interesting piece on B-HO…O’s Tour De Farce.

“He looked like a man in a hurry,” a source close to Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said last week. “He was not interested in what we had to say.”
