Demise of the MSM

Rhetorical Question

This has to be a rhetorical question from Vanity Fair:

Is the Media Trying to Elect Obama?

Tomorrow, CBS’s Katie Couric will interview Barack Obama from Jordan. On Wednesday, ABC’s Charlie Gibson will chat with him from Israel. And on Thursday, NBC’s Brian Williams will do the honors from Germany. Call it the presidential campaign equivalent of Shooting the Moon.

The media love affair with Obama — who they are absolutely trying to get elected (it’s all a part of their narrative) — began a long time ago. Long before this latest invite only knob-slob foreign photo-op and faux interview junket.

  1. Um… they’re interviews- that’s what the media does!

John McCain’s ‘base’ on the other hand continually has covered for his flip flops and blunders. Not to mention the outright conflicts of interest.

And the media covers for Obama’s. I guess they’re his base, then?

  3. That’s what I’m talking about:

Perhaps this scene gives some insight into why McCain jokingly refers to the media as his base.

  4. Of course they are, it’s Obama Love.
There are some signs of incredulity on the Obamasiah, though.
    Marc Ambinder has the transcript.

Come on Preston…the media just doesn’t mention Obama’s little flip flops and his dealings with some no-so-nice people. Both McCain and Obama have skeletons.

The media’s love affair with Obama goes way beyond anything we have ever seen. Media outlets, both networks and newspapers, have all thrown away any pretense of objectivity and impartiality. What ever smoke screen these outlets use to throw up are gone now, forever! They have openly decided that Barry Obama is going to be the President. And they are doing everything possible to convince those that still listen to them that Barry is their guy.

The MSM want to pick your President for you. And with the sheep out there that still listen to these pinheads, that is scary as hell.

  6. And despite the best efforts of the LameStreamMedia, B-HO and McCain are tied.

Are you kidding? Were you hibernating during the Wrightathon? Or during all of the “changed his position on the war!!!!” nonesense?

The fact is that the media is pretending like this is going to be a close election because that’s what keeps the seats full.
