I will say, that the donks winning the mid-term is not an historical anomaly, all you have to do is look at the mid-term elections for every President’s second term, and see the trend. To claim that sane people are supporting the worst Congress in history, is to say you are sane, which is well beyond audience comprehension. From recent data I have read, a fair few of Guantanamo detainees were arrested in Pakistan and have since been shown to have no links with terrorism, Al Qaeda or be sympathisers with anti-american sentiment.
I am not sure supporting the practice of locking up ‘could-be’ enemy combatants without trial is ethical N2L, even for you.
And for you muppet of a president to slam another country for it’s record on human rights is simply laughable.

I don’t know of the info you have received, you probably didn’t have your tin-foil asshat on, but many of the combatants are free to return their country of origin, but their countries won’t take them. So they sit at Club Gitmo. Then there are those who were released, and returned to the battle field, to kill again, including Massud, who is the one who ordered the murder of Benazir Bhutto. But, we are keeping the most dangerous and intel valuable their. The standard practice has been to hold combatants until the war is over. Still works for me. They have recently been (wrongly) given habeus corpus rights, even though they aren’t citizens or criminals, but combatants.
You must enjoy being wrong, lobster-back.
I’m sure you have no clue as to what the ChiComms do to their citizens, such as the Falon Gong, or their mobile organ harvesting buses.

Like i said in an earlier post i am American born but live overseas (not in Europe though) and have a brother who lives in Boston (great city). Before you call Europe a shit hole i’m guessing you probably haven’t been there because most Texans haven’t even left their own state let alone the country and that’s why they are ignorant of everything European. So what makes Europe a shithole - is it the beautiful women, the beautiful cities, the wonderful food, the magnificent scenary, the diverse cultures, the superb infastructure. Yeah i’m sure there are many people in Paris and Madrid who are just itching to move to Houston. America has some wonderful citys with great people (San Fran, Boston, Seattle) to name a few but America will never fulfill its potential in my lifetime because you still have states like Texas, Alabama etc who take pride in living in the dark ages. If only every US city was like Boston or San Francisco.

We live free in Texas, with low taxes, gorgeous women, great food, fantastic cultural diversity, and lots and lots and lots of leg room.
I live in Dallas, love Houston, have lived in Austin, but favor small towns in Texas, that’s where the best and kindest people live.
I’ve traveled extensively, but in the last few years, I only care about traveling in the U.S., and living in Dallas.
You obviously aren’t getting the full picture of the cesspool Europe has become. I’ll recommend one blog, and you can find many others from there. Gates of Vienna.
If all of America was like Boston and San Francisco, then it would be just be fucked up Europe, and we don’t want that.
