Liz EdwardsWhile standing in line at HEB this morning to buy a couple of lbs of key limes (mucho cerveza will be consumed tonight at mine and Kemo’s 40th Birthday bash), I glanced at the tabloid stand.

There, mixed in with the covers of Britney Spears (who apparently was deceived by someone. Oh my!), Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Kirstie Alley (the fat one) — was the profoundly sad face of Elizabeth Edwards.

That’s what John and Elizabeth Edwards have been reduced to — tabloid fodder. And they both deserve it, as they are both complicit in the cover ups, lies, and deceptions of the Edwards/Hunter affair.

Wife & I knocked back some drinks on back porch last night. Late start today

Translation: They got drunk, got naked, and pulled an Otis.

Happy Birthday, Robbie :-)

[Editor --- We're you spying on us? I thought I heard something on the other side of the fence.

My birthday's not actually until Wednesday (20th), but we're throwing a party for me and my three best friends...all of whom turn 40 this year, and all of whom I've been close friends with since grade school.]

Happy birthday!

Forty, eh?
You’re just getting started.
Happy Birthday to you, Kemo, and of course, your respective Momma’s!
/you better be calling her

Happy Birthday Robbie! 40 was great, as far as I can remember…

So, Elizabeth Edwards chooses not to have the world know that her husband cheated on her so she deserves to be treated badly again?!?

Co-dependent enabler!
Ring a bell?

Well, this one is a stretch for me. Sure, she didn’t tell the world that he cheated on her, obviously because he was running for President. But did Jackie, did Mamie, did Hillary (of course she knew), did Eleanor; in fact, I’m not the greatest of historians, but did any President’s wife or aspiring President’s wife tell the public about their cheating husbands? Maybe there is one, but I can’t remember any in recent history. I think that may be not as easy as one thinks. First of all there’s the emotional component for the woman…shame, embarrassment, hurt, the children. Then there’s the part where these men in powerful positions are likely to make life a living hell for the wife or at least threaten them with such. And, then add on to that having a disease that will probably kill you in the not too distant future. I’m gonna cut Elizabeth some slack on this one.

Got something you want to say?
