The morning after Obama’s historic and soaring acceptance of the Presidential nomination from the Democrat party — what is the political world buzzing about this morning? What is the topic of conversation?
That John McCain has out Obama-ed Obama with his VP selection of Sarah Palin (Gov. of Alaska). Check out the top of Memeorandum right now:

Palin on Memeorandum
Brilliantly played, Sen. McCain….brilliantly played. Way to steal the news cycle from Obama. I’m sure you’ll now be accused of “political malpractice”…again…by Barack’s team.

This is not going well for the GOP’s flying-monkey wing.
This race is essentially over today. Get yer black power tattoos now while they’re still cheap.
No, we’re right on schedule:
Step one: Make patty go batshit crazy. Done.
Sure- the timing was necessary- there’s no question that everyone was going to be gushing about Obama’s speech.
But the selection?!? When John McCain started his campaign Palin was the mayor of a town with barely fewer people than the high school I went to.
The fact that he had only met her 3 times compounds the idea that this was merely an attempt to win an election not a decision on how to govern. That is very telling of McCain’s judgment right there.
(I mean does this sound like someone who has ideas on either energy policy or Iraq?!?)
When John McCain started his campaign, Palin was governor of Alaska. Twelve years earlier, Obama’s political career got off the ground with his the help of his friendly neighborhood terrorists, murderers, and murderer apologists.
Palin’s name had been kicked around for a very long time as a possible VP nom and long before Obama demonstrated his poor decision making ability by not picking Hillary Clinton and treating her like crap. Talk about pettiness!
Only people that ‘gush’ are going to gush about Obama. Sounds a little gay to me.
Preston,if ya don’t win, ya don’t govern. I doubt that either party will apologize for trying to win.
if ya don’t win, ya don’t govern
McCain’s slogan ‘Country First’ sort of implies that you wouldn’t knowingly elevate someone unprepared for the office of President just to win more votes.
B-HO doesn’t have a slogan, does he?
Oh, I forgot, hopiness and changiness.
How profound!
Super Sarah is an excellent choice for VP, and of the four people on the ballot for P and VP, she is the only one with any executive experience at all, unless you count the six years B-HO chaired the Annenberg Challenge, but we can’t talk about that, according to B-HO, so she is the only one of the four with actual executive experience.
As to someone being selected for high office without experience, careful there Preston, you shouldn’t mention those words, B-HO won’t go into the tree with you anymore.
McCain’s slogan ‘Country First’ sort of implies that you wouldn’t knowingly elevate someone unprepared for the office of President just to win more votes.
Projecting again? Isn’t that what’s behind Obama’s nomination? Because he sure as hell isn’t prepared to be president.
This is almost as much fun as watching LSU destroy Allapachian.
Desperation from Democrats.
It looks like Preston is going down the list.
Rah-Rah-Rah…Sisboombah…Gooooooooo Preston!
