Quick — name the last time a group of Conservative protesters crashed and attempted to interupt a Democratic or Liberal gathering.

Uh huh. You can’t.

Because it’s not something we do. We actually believe in things like “free speech” and “freedom to assemble peacefully”.

And we just don’t care that Dems are gathering and spewing forth about their socialist policies or their anti- everything grievances. Oh, and because we have jobs and families that we can’t just up and abandon to go air our grievances on a daily or weekly basis.

So why is it that liberal whack-jobs have to interrupt, disrupt, and invade — often accompanied with violence and intimidation — every single gathering of Conservatives?

Like the completely unhinged Code Pinkos* at the Republican National Convention — they tried to storm the stage during Gov. Palin’s speech and again last night during Sen. McCain’s.

  • Republicans — the party of adults
  • Democrats — the party of petulant adolescents

____

* CodePink spokesman Jean Stevens confirmed that the group was responsible. She said the two women who stormed the stage were Elizabeth Hourican, 38 years old, of Phoenix and Nancy Mancias, 38, of San Francisco. Both women are fulltime activists.

Uh huh. Of course they are. I wonder how well being a “full time activist” pays? I wonder who funds them (cough, cough, Daddy Sorros, cough, cough)?

Jodie Evans, who also tried to storm the stage is — big surprise — Barack Obama’s top bundler. I know, right. I was as shocked as you.

Here or here.

Lots of it happening in the UK as well.
The difference is, the liberals do it with style, the conservatives do it in cardigans and slippers.

Jonny

Guy on the radio and his producer were standing where the pinkos were and saw them dragged away. They said the best part was the shocked looked on both their faces. What the hell did the bimbos think were going to happen? Hahaha.

I love The People’s Cube formerly CommiesforKerry.

I hope they got the crap kicked out of them for this. Apparently, they need to learn some manners. Of course if they tried this in China, they could be “re-educated” in a labour camp.

Anyone else see the anti-war vet with the banner in the balcony? There was one shot where a guy was trying to pull his banner away, but when they cut back to him he was still there.

He was not being disruptive or disorderly, just holding his banner from the balcony. Wonder what happened to him.

Well, the RNC was the most watched convention ever.

There was a time when questioning politicians was actually encouraged at these rallies (well, in the UK anyway) - it was considered to be part of the protest. Back in the sixties, there would be ‘professional’ hecklers that would go to these conventions and be supported by the crowd to ask questions, heckle and taunt the politicians into answering serious questions.
You do that nowadays in the UK and you get this (click video).

Freedom of speech has gone out the window.
You start banning hecklers and protesters and we might as well have a dictatorship!

Jonny

I was standing near the gate inside the arena when they hauled off the protesters. One of them was screaming “God, please follow me, oh, God, be with me!” Not sure what that part was about. They weren’t rough with them even though they were definitely resisting.

What was so cool is that delegates and then the audience simply started yelling “USA, USA, USA” and pointing them out to security as they started interrupting.

Not sure what that part was about.

It was the part where she is a drama queen and acts like a professional victim. These people have been arrested many times before and they know the drill.

Pam, maybe she was begging God for assistance, because she stole the pass that got her inside, and knew she faced criminal prosecution this time, and not just a record of arrest.

No2, Yep, I guarantee she wasn’t provided credentials. There were a few instances of delegates having their credentials ripped off their necks while there. Some of the idiots in the media could possibly be the culprits too. She did have them, though. We all checked everyone really closely.

Most of the arrests that took place last week ended up with felony charges being filed.

Just inside the convention center, or outside, as well?
I could see those using fraudulent or stolen credentials getting prosecuted. Those are controlled items, and even if they got them from media types, there should be a trail.
The only good thing about Code Stink being in Denver, it meant there were fewer to stand outside the gates of Walter Reed and insult our wounded soldiers.

No2: Outside for sure. Not sure about inside.

Pam, was just reading about two yahoos from Austin that were arrested in St. Paul, and could face ten years each.
Add to that, AFL-CIO goons were instrumental in planning the trouble in St. Paul, it is becoming quite clear that the left is a criminal organization.

Got something you want to say?
