Last month I noted that Blog Net News has created a statewide blog influence index that includes a 12 week rolling average, a per-post influence measure, and a new liberal and conservative influence rank.

Last month, Urbangrounds was ranked as the 7th most influential Conservative political blog in Texas.

Well, the idex has been updated again…and guess who is currently ranked as the most influential conservative blog in Texas?

Urbangrounds Blog influence

That’s right — Urbangrounds.

Now, I don’t know how much stock to put into this as I don’t know or understand the algorithm they use to rank blogs…but nonetheless, it’s a tremendous honor to even be on the same list as all lof these other blogs…most of which I read regularly and some of whom I know personally.

Thanks to all me readers — especially those of you who take part in the comments section — for helping Urbangrounds be something that I’m tremendously proud of.

That’s awesome… Congratulations, Robbie!

Fantastic Robbie! And not surprising!

Way to go Robbie !

Congrats, Robbie! Looking at that list, I can only say one thing.

“uh… hey, wait! I’m on that list!” I’m shocked, honestly.

Congrats! As a recent transplant to Tex, it’s good to know who I should be reading ;).

[Editor --- Welcome to Texas, Jenna. A Wisconsin transplant, 'eh?

I used to be a Texan transplanted in Wisconsin (spent a year in Eau Claire back in 1989 and a year in Antigo in 1994).

I'll be checking out your blog, too --- always looking for other good conservative bloggers in Texas. Stay safe and dry this weekend!]

Congratulations Robbie!

A well-deserved recognition for all your hard work

Congratulations! And I had no idea I ranked so high and fallen so far from last month. I wasn’t even aware of the ranking until this month.

Got something you want to say?
