And no, I’m not talking about Obama pretending who knew what Henry Kissinger’s stance on Iran is (Kissinger today stated pretty flatly that Obama was wrong about his stance as Obama kept insisting last night during the debate)…

The dumbest thing said this week came gushing from the ignorant pie-hole of Rep. Alcee Hastings (D-FL-impeached former-judge):

Hastings, who is African-American, was explaining what he intended to tell his Jewish constituents about the presidential race. “Anybody toting guns and stripping moose don’t care too much about what they do with Jews and blacks. So, you just think this through,” Hastings added as the room erupted in laughter and applause.

Wow. I mean, just holy-fucking-shit wow.

This man is an elelcted representative to the highest legistlative body in the world? How horribly, horribly sad.

You know, Mr. Hastings…I tote a gun. And while I’ve never “stripped a moose”, I have helped strip a deer. I guess that makes me a racist who doesn’t care about the Jooooos and negros, too.

Fucking idiot. I hope you get lost in the Everglades and eaten by an alligator. Or a crocodile. Or whatever it is you have down there in Florida.

Kissinger did recently call for “high level” talks with Iran starting at the secretary of state level and said, “I do not believe that we can make conditions.”

So you are wrong about that.

While Hastings point was badly worded, the truth is relative to Palin, who governed a town where less than 1% of the population was African-American and 0% of the population is Jewish. Context is key. Hastings is a black man from the deep south, someone who grew up with oppression that you haven’t the faintest clue about. So while I’ll agree his statement was badly worded, I understand the context he said it in and I’m not certain it’s not valid.

FWIW. YMMV.

I have got to quit reading political blogs. Some of the comments are so stunningly stupid that just reading them is going to give me a stroke. Mr. Iflyhigh probably is the master of stunningly stupid.
Let me see if I have the faintest clue, hmmm.
You ever see pictures of Okies? You ever been to anywhere in the vast stretch of Appalachia? You ever hear of the, Irish, the Italians, the Poles, the Chinese??????Do you think that black skin is some special victim class that allows for the above quote? Do you think that black skin (which is not black at all) is a victim class in any way shape or form??!!!You think any white skinned Congressperson could get away with that racist nonsense?
I understand the context he said it in and I’m not certain it’s not valid. I am not certain you got a F-ing brain.

Kissinger said he would never advocate direct negotiations with Iran on the presidential level. So, Robbie is right.

As to that hack Hastings, for being so oppressed, he did pretty good: Fisk University, Howard University, Florida A & M. and appointed as a federal judge.

But, you’re right, I don’t have a clue about accepting a $150,000 bribe from some mafioso racketeers to knock down their sentence and then to commit perjury. That’s some context that you understand! Are you a crook, too?

And here’s some more context for you: Gov. Palin has governed a state where about 4% of the population black and about 5% of the population is Jewish. Gov. Palin has received nothing but praised from the Jewish community in Alaska. The truth is, Gov. Palin has received no similar endorsement from the impeached federal judge community. And, unfortunately, she has little experience in governing crackheads ( “There ain’t no crackheads there” - P. Diddy)

And while Obama represent a state with only 0.3% Native Americans, Gov. Palin governs a state with a 16% Native American population and her husband is an enrolled member of the Yup’ik tribe. So, applying your logic, Obama doesn’t care too much about the Native Americans. Raaaccciiisst!!!!

Nice try at twisting words, misrepresentation, and lying by omission. If I were a Missouri Obama Brownshirt, I would seek to file charges of criminal libel against you. But, since I am not a democrat and therefore respect our constitution, I’ll just give you a warning.

It seems like Hastings has actually compared moose to black people and Jews. Any time someone elevates animal life to the level of human life, human life is immediately devaluated.

His comment is so ridiculous and non-sensical that it’s making my head hurt. Excuse me while I take some aspirin.

Read the story of The St Louis and then tell us which party doesn’t care about the Jews Alcie. FDR refused entry to those 600 jews so they eventually had to return to Germany and all died in Hitlers camps.
