Matt Taibbi, the political columnist for RollingStone magazine, might be the most rabidly, unabashedly, unhinged, and biased Liberal journalist working today.

And that’s really saying something.

This is the clown who, in 2005, wrote a column for NY Press, entitled “The 52 Funniest Things About the Upcoming Death of the Pope.”

Yeah. Because what’s not funny about the imminent death of one of the world’s most beloved and revered religious icons?

It’s little wonder that Taibbi makes his living now at RollingStone magazine — a despicable rag that routinely (as in  Every. Single. Issue.) glamorizes drug use, the sexualization of teenagers, misogyny, gangster and thug lifestyles, and lawlessness. All while shitting on decent American institutions such as Christianity and family values.

It’s no secret that most of the staff of RollingStone does their job under a haze of dope smoke. Rumor has it that the vending machine in the break room has some really good shit from Mexico right along side the Cool Ranch Doritos™. And that there are one-hit pipes right next to the paper clips in the supply room.

However, in RollingStone issue 1061 (Sept. 18, 2008), Taibbi takes a few minutes off from making up lies about the Republican party to make an honest confession about his man-love for Barack Obama.

In case you had any doubts about whether or not Taibbi has the ability to be objective a political journalist, this should end that doubt.

Taibbi writes:

Someone like me — someone who has actually sailed on this factory ship long enough to get sick at the first whiff of fish — is instantly dismissive of anyone who dirties himself by entering this world.

First off — LIAR. You are not instantly “dismissive of anyone who dirties himself” by entering politics. You are only instantly dismissive of Republicans and Conservatives. Every column you pen is an attack on Republicans.

If the second coming of Jesus Christ stepped on the bus to run on the Democratic ticket, I’d be wondering who paid for his robe and why his message cribbed so much from the New Testament. But even I find myself being seduced by Obama, despite everything I know about the party he represents, its record and where it gets its money. There’s just something about the guy; he has that effect.

Considering you work for a Christianity-bashing rag, I don’t doubt that you would be so harsh and critical of the real Messiah, meanwhile getting in line to fellate the pretend Obamassiah.

But don’t worry, Matt, you are not alone in the ln the Tank for Obama Media™. You’ve all been seduced by Obama, and subsequently thrown out any journalistic credibility that you were just barely hanging onto to begin with.

Taibbi ends his long love-letter to Obama with this:

As I watch Obama on the campaign trail, I know I’m listening to the Same Old Shit, delivered  by a candidate who could cross the Atlantic on a bridge constructed entirely from Wall Street cash culled for him by party hacks and insiders. But I suddenly don’t care.

But I do appreciate you at least coming clean about your unapologetic man-love for Barry. And in doing so, openly admitting that you are completely unable to write objectively about Obama or his opponents.

Not that we doubted it before.

Ah, another leftard with daddy issues.

Of course he doesn’t care, he’s an Obamaniac.
I’ll bet he didn’t even understand the references in the SNL skit last night, or care.

There isn’t anything that can sway Obamaniacs.
Nothing at all.

What a moron…..

I haven’t looked at a Rolling Stone issue in over 10 or 15 years, but I hadn ‘t realized they had stooped so very low…..and it always was a left leaning…..it’s just a lot worse..
The only one I’ve got in the house was the issue that had Mel Gibson and Tina Turner wearing their Road Warrior : Beyond Thunderdome character outfits on the cover.

I think he said that Obama appealed to him because of his personality, he didn’t say Obama is better than Jesus. Be that as it may, I’m left wondering why a diehard conservative like you is reading Rolling Stone…not to come across as rude, but are you just looking for something to complain about, Robbie?

I also find your homo accusations of Taibbi somewhat juvenile, but I’ve been told I have no sense of humor before…

Nazar — My wife has a free life-time subscription to RollingStone. If I had to pay for it, I wouldn’t.

But, much like reading Liberal blogs, it’s great blog fodder to keep up with what the deranged left is up to.

So, Robbie, how’d the swimming lesson go?

Robbie Cooper: you did a great job of hacking this article to serve your purpose. Have you thought of entering politics?

I would suggest that anyone who chose to read Mr. Cooper’s above ‘take’ on this article actually go read the whole article. I read it, and came away with the perception that all of my reasons to NOT vote for BO had been validated.

Taibbi wrote an entire book criticizing Democrats… Seriously, 331 pages in which he criticizes just about everyone in the party.

Got something you want to say?
