The event was organized by Ryan Sawtelle, who is also involved in the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund and other motorcycle rider charities. He plans to host a charity ride from the Reagan Library to the memorial which is on Pepperdine University property and hold a brief prayer service. Unfortunately, the university is giving him a hard time about the motorcyclists on campus. Hopefully, he can persuade them differently, since it is stupid to object when the memorial ceremony is open to the public and it was Ryan and his fellow cyclists who performed most of the work erecting the flags.
