In case you have any doubt about what’s going on here, here’s a video of the thugs in action — the Black Panther with the night stick is claiming he’s “security”. Uh huh. Making sure the polls are secure from Republicans who want in to vote.
What would the media reaction be if a bunch of white good ‘ol boys down in Alabama decided to provide “security” at their polling places by standing around in front of the door with shotguns?

Will a President Obama be the first President to dismiss and refuse Secret Service protection and instead replace them with his own personal security detail comprised of members of the Nation of Islam and the Black Panthers.
If you are so dumb as to think that these individuals are actually affliated with Obama, you may want to get your head examined. Obama will probably beef up his Secret Service protection so that he knows he’s safe from some crazed individual that only sees half of his heritage. I’m not saying these Black Panthers have any business being at these polls, but I’m not naive enough to buy they were placed there by Obama.
But you are so dumb to believe that Obama’s numerous legitimate poll watchers did not have a duty to tell these two creeps to take a hike. So can it.
This isn’t the first time “security” whether authorized or not has turned up at polling places. And as a result, the shit hit the fan. But, since democrats believe election laws do not apply to them, we will have to wait and see. Nevertheless, since they were in possession of an illegal weapon, i.e., a billy club, their voter intimidating asses have been hauled off to jail.

We now see the official wingnut meme for explaining Obama’s landslide. There is one message from Fox being repeated all day, and Karl Rove just did his part to bolster it: African-Americans aren’t merely voting in droves, but are cheating and stealing the election for Obama. Rove just “informed” Fox viewers not only that there are more registered voters than adults in Philadelphia (and made the same claim about Milwaukee), but also that voting precincts are in the homes and “barber shops” of Democratic ward leaders, that there are already votes in the voting machines before the day begins, that ACORN criminals control the process in many large cities, etc.
Obama is going to take away the white people’s money and give it to African-Americans with a new welfare program, and to make sure it happens, whites are being cheated and intimidated out of their vote. The endlessly looped Black Panther video (“intimidating white voters from voting”) provides the perfect visual aid to this claim.

I only quote the above because I use to work with a guy who worked undercover for 2 years and infiltrated one of these groups. He told me that it wasn’t unusual for the group to get credit/blame for things they did not do. He believed counter organizations staged these crimes in order to get publicity. So, it’s more likely David Axelrod who had the fliers printed up.
