While I’m not ready to hug it out with any Obama supporters or voters just yet — congratulations are in order.
Congratulations to Sen. Obama on becoming our nation’s 44th President. I wish him only the greatest successes in improving and protecting our nation.
However, I will fight him tooth-and-nail and hold him to the fire whenever I think he is doing harm to our nation and to my conservative values.
Congratulations to Sen. John McCain on running one of the worst campaigns in the history of campaigns. Well done, Senator. Well done.

In the meantime, I sincerely hope I’ve been completely wrong about Sen. Obama. I hope he is less Liberal and more moderate than he’s shown. I hope he’s not as anti-military and anti-second amendment as his life’s work has demonstrated to this point. I hope he doen’t destroy, or attempt to destroy capitialism and free trade, which are high on his To Do list.

@John Jarzemsky: Given that Steve Schmidt is widely thought to be one of the anonymous sources talking down Palin every chance they can, the fact that he wouldn’t let her speak isn’t a surprise. My understanding is that some/all of these anonymous sources are doing their part to throw Palin under the bus to clear the way for Romney in 2012. Make of that what you will.

The thing that really burns me up about this is….the reverse racism.
