Validation: I Dare You Not to Smile

Via a Twitter suggestion from Jack Leblond via Cheryl Smith at Culture Smith Consulting, is a timely video for Thanksgiving:

About the same time I was reflecting on blessing, I came across this video about validation. It’s a light look at how validating others can make a huge difference. Sometime today or tomorrow, take a coffee break and watch the video. Share it with someone who needs it and then be intentional about offering blessing and validation this Thanksgiving. You’ll be glad you did.

The video is about 15 minutes long. And you won’t regret a moment of watching it. So, when you have a few spare moments, grab a cup of coffee, sit back and I dare you NOT to smile.

Happy Thanksgiving to everybody.

  1. Hard not to smile when watching this, you’re right! I actually laughed when he said the line about parking (near the end). Won’t spoil it for your readers.

Validation is so important. Something simple that we all have the power – and choice – to do for others and for ourselves. We must learn how, then be intentional about doing it. That’s the key!
