It’s not the fault of the police - they investigate and arrest. It’s up to the DA to ask for prison time. Maybe they won’t get jail time but they are now easily recognized. I liked the idea of posting a picture of the parents as well - they’re responsible for raising these two things.

Will these (cough) young ladies be put on the sexual offenders list? They should be. Kudos to you for spreading the word. Like the other posters here, I too, hope they will be recognized and humiliated - although that pales by comparison to what they did to the residents. But it’s a start.

i’m from albert lea and these girls were not raised selfish its just that they have something wrong with their heads. When i heard about this case i was not suprised at all about the girls who were being charged. Their whole group of friends are like this. They deserve the maximum punishment.

That the county attorney has all but guaranteed these pigs nothing more than a slap on the wrist BEFORE the trial has even started is very, very troubling. Given these filthy skanks’ sexual proclivities, you really have to wonder how they worked THAT deal out…hmmm.

And, yeah, the parents…I’m guessin’ they were too wrapped up in their own shallow lives to bother raising their kids properly.

If these perps had been male, people of color, or older, less attractive females, they’d be nailed to the wall.

I would be so devastated to learn that one of my family members had been a victim of these abusers. And even more devastated to know that one of my children was raised in such a way that she would have no empathy for the disabled people she was caring for. This is so very troubling. When are parents going to stop putting their social lives on the front burner and get down to basic parenting 101?
If they will not be prosecuted by the DA for these disgusting crimes, then they need to prosecuted by the public.
This goes on my list with that moron of a mother who created that MySpace account for the sole purpose of bullying a child to the point of suicide. What is wrong with people? I really don’t get it.

Of the remaining 6, 5 are 18 years old now. They should have their names revealed. When SLS turns 18 her name should be revealed as well. You can pretty much figure them out from myspace and I believe they are/were all members of Dance.

Steph- you are so right on about getting all of their names out to the public. Why should Ashton and Brianna have to go down in flames for the dirty deeds of the whole group of monsters? What you girls did to some of the residents of Good Sam was unconscionable. So to Ashton, Brianna, Alicia, Kaylee, Rachel, Jenna, and Morgan, I hope and pray that you all will be sentenced to the full extent the law will allow. What I can’t believe is that the parents of these monsters has tried to defend their actions?!!! No wonder these spoiled, pampered brats believe they can do anything they want. We need to remember that parents shouldn’t be trying so hard to be their child’s “best friend”… what the child needs is a PARENT… someone to be a role model.. to teach right from wrong… to show them right from wrong… someone who will show them the consequences of wrong choices and not someone who tries to defend their cruel, malicious behaviour. I have a feeling that Mommy and Daddy are more concerned about protecting their own reputation and worried that something like this might affect their ability to make money. They don’t care about their children… their worry is their own pocketbook. Heck… I wouldn’t be surprised to hear that one or a few of the parents involved have already contacted a Hollywood producer/storywriter and signed a deal to make a “made-for-TV movie.” The saddest part of this… people WILL watch such crap. What does it say about all of us????

Very true. Methinks some people’s brains must be frozen up there in MN. Did they ever call that thing, or is Franken still looking for some extra “votes” in the trunk of his car?

The prosecutor doesn’t want to go for felony charges because he’s afraid they won’t stick with no actual eye witnesses and because the girls are already changing their stories according to some reports. Still, it was highly irresponsible for him to have publicly stated he doesn’t believe the girls will serve any jail time, and probably unethical, too. I don’t think a public official can make that kind of speculative comment about a case that hasn’t even gone to trial yet.

Anyway, the civil suits will be filed and it’s going to be a lot easier to penalize these girls that way. They and their families will be paying legal fees and court awards to the victims for the rest of their lives.

What the hell is the matter with these girls.. I personally think that they need to be put into this situation. What if these girls had alzheimers and they were in a home.. how would they feel if they were getting a finger shoved up their ass.. I personally wouldn’t like that at all.. Unless these girls like getting it in the asshole then maybe its a different story. Just because these people aren’t going to be able to remember what happend to them that next day doesn’t give them to right to do what they did to those people. Those girls should go to jail for this.. because it is a SEXUAL ASSAULT! They shouldn’t be getting off of this easy.. I don’t care if those girls are pretty or anything.. to me they are fucking sick in god damn head and they need to be put in the mental institution for what they did! What the fuck kind of cops do we in this state. Minnesota used to be a well protected state and now it is going to shit! . Seriously what the fuck is going wrong with our state! These young women are sexual predators. They deserve jail. Yes, they are monsters-masquerading as pretty girls. But they are not animals. Animals don’t know what they are doing. It’s a sad day for
our society if the function of our old people is to entertain and pre-
vent boredom in our young ladies.
The father who tried to defend his daughter is misguided at best. He should seek justice for both the victims and for his offspring. I feel sorry especially for victims whose lives have been destroyed, but also
for the girls who have ruined their own young lives. And for what? To make work “fun!” Such unbelievable waste!

My heart probably lost three years just reading these charges. I cannot fathom how ONE evil, twisted minded, individual could do these things, much less and entire group of young women.
Sexual assault usually carries the requirement of the perpetrator registering as a sex offender. The citizens of this state deserve to find these names on that list. What if they hire one of these people to watch their children? Alzheimer’s patients are much like little children. Would these girls distinquish an age difference, or would they do these things to your kids? People of MN…speak up.

I have been following this story for days now. I am glad to see that people are not letting this go away. The AG for MN has a webpage with address and 800#. There are more charges that can be pressed and maybe she ca be encouraged to do so at a state level.

I saw no charges in the list about the violation of the privacy laws that protect patients, even though the girls admitted to taking pictures and videos of these people and the acts of crime. Even if the cell phones have been erased, there is still this admission.

Just looking for more complaints to be filed.

Reading this makes me so mad , okay all the stuff the media says eveyone belives it and talks about it for days on end if it is bad. but someone doing a good deed gets forgotten in a day. Well first off these so called alzheimers patients getting abused did not have alzheimers but they like you to think the worst so they tell you that .. if they had alzheimers they would have resided in the angels wing which was a place strictly for alzheimers patients that they no longer have now. so that is a lie that the put out in the media for all you… so who ever belived that is a moron.

Okay second thing they never cared to mention that the nurses never got charged or written up for abuse or neglect to treat the patients. One patient had a U T I and was reported to the nurse and kept reporting to the nurse and other nurses and lpns and nothing got done, 3 months later they so oh so and so is suffering from a sevier bladder infection. and is bed ridden becaue it has gotten so bad that this resident can no longer walk to the bathroom with assistance but is in so much pain she scrams and cries when you get the patient up with a mechanical lift. but that never got reported or written up.

Another patient was suffering from a horrible problem that they had and would cry out but yet the nurses made you get that person up to eat … okay who realy wants to eat when they were in so much pain to cry out and yell. but could sit comfortably in bed…. and he would beg and pled to be left in bed and the workers would not want to get him up because he was in so much pain but nope who cares what the patient wants right. so the nurses made them get him up as he is crying … just so you guys know u can reposition people in bed they dont need to get up but they did not care… to me that is in human

Another time a charge nurse left a patient in a room with pants down half done with getting a cath done and left home with the patient like that wet and scared and indecent. But that does not matter but if you left a sock on the ground the night before oh belive me you would get yelled at for a half an hour.

none of those things you guys heard about and something else that you guys have not heard about is that the person who reported all this make belive incidents was an ex best friend of one of the girls and since she was getting fired for saying indecent things why not say stuff about these girls… come on perfect revenge on on ex best friend… you guys know how mean girls can get. But oh you guys are willing to belive her mad up revenge because its negative you guys dwell to much on the negative and you guys are calling these girls sick. you guys are just as sick minded for beliveing all this and not getting the facts come on now what do you think the media is going to report the truth or something that is going to sell big money? come on think about it.

A quick question to the Anonymous post left on Jan. 9th. Now the report said that the girls were quoted as admitting to these charges so how is it that you believe that this whole thing was made up by the girls’ supposed friend. Second off, I’m not really sure why you went on the rant that you did about the other horrible things that happened in the hospital. Yes, those people didn’t get caught but it certainly doesn’t excuse the behaviors of the two girls in the article. What they did was sick and indecent no matter what kind of volunteer work they were doing. They acted disgustingly and inappropriately and should be punished for their actions.
