Instead, these young ladies got their freak on with the Alzheimer’s patients they were paid to take care of at The Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Albert Lea:
Albert Lea, MN – The Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Albert Lea probably isn’t the best place to be if you have Alzheimer’s. Oh, sure, the nurse’s aides are pretty – but they’ll also spit in your mouth, sexually abuse you, and taunt you until you cry. Which would be fine if the girls were working at the Albert Lea Dominatrix Emporium, I guess, but doesn’t work out so well in the dementia unit.
During interviews with investigators, Brianna Broitzman admitted that she and Ashton Larson took photos and videos of residents for fun. She said that they also poked one female dementia patient in the breast. Ashton Larson was a bit more forthcoming, and admitted to various abuses including spitting, holding her hand over a resident’s mouth, dry-humping residents, sticking her finger in a resident’s anus, touching a resident’s ass, and getting in bed with residents.
Wow. I mean, just WOW.
Let me just go ahead and say it, “What the fuck is the matter with these girls?”
The first thing there parents should do before beating their asses and sending them to a shrink is have them drug tested. Because wouldn’t you have to be on drugs to stick your finger up an old person’s ass (regardless of their mental stability)?

It’s not the fault of the police – they investigate and arrest. It’s up to the DA to ask for prison time. Maybe they won’t get jail time but they are now easily recognized. I liked the idea of posting a picture of the parents as well – they’re responsible for raising these two things.
Will these (cough) young ladies be put on the sexual offenders list? They should be. Kudos to you for spreading the word. Like the other posters here, I too, hope they will be recognized and humiliated – although that pales by comparison to what they did to the residents. But it’s a start.

i’m from albert lea and these girls were not raised selfish its just that they have something wrong with their heads. When i heard about this case i was not suprised at all about the girls who were being charged. Their whole group of friends are like this. They deserve the maximum punishment.

I would be so devastated to learn that one of my family members had been a victim of these abusers. And even more devastated to know that one of my children was raised in such a way that she would have no empathy for the disabled people she was caring for. This is so very troubling. When are parents going to stop putting their social lives on the front burner and get down to basic parenting 101?

What you girls did to some of the residents of Good Sam was unconscionable. What I can’t believe is that the parents of these monsters has tried to defend their actions?!!! No wonder these spoiled, pampered brats believe they can do anything they want. The prosecutor doesn’t want to go for felony charges because he’s afraid they won’t stick with no actual eye witnesses and because the girls are already changing their stories according to some reports. Still, it was highly irresponsible for him to have publicly stated he doesn’t believe the girls will serve any jail time, and probably unethical, too. I don’t think a public official can make that kind of speculative comment about a case that hasn’t even gone to trial yet.
Anyway, the civil suits will be filed and it’s going to be a lot easier to penalize these girls that way. They and their families will be paying legal fees and court awards to the victims for the rest of their lives.

Sexual assault usually carries the requirement of the perpetrator registering as a sex offender. The citizens of this state deserve to find these names on that list. What if they hire one of these people to watch their children? Alzheimer’s patients are much like little children. Would these girls distinquish an age difference, or would they do these things to your kids? People of MN…speak up.
I have been following this story for days now. I am glad to see that people are not letting this go away. The AG for MN has a webpage with address and 800#. There are more charges that can be pressed and maybe she ca be encouraged to do so at a state level.
I saw no charges in the list about the violation of the privacy laws that protect patients, even though the girls admitted to taking pictures and videos of these people and the acts of crime. Even if the cell phones have been erased, there is still this admission.

Reading this makes me so mad , okay all the stuff the media says eveyone belives it and talks about it for days on end if it is bad. but someone doing a good deed gets forgotten in a day. Well first off these so called alzheimers patients getting abused did not have alzheimers but they like you to think the worst so they tell you that .. if they had alzheimers they would have resided in the angels wing which was a place strictly for alzheimers patients that they no longer have now. so that is a lie that the put out in the media for all you… so who ever belived that is a moron.
Okay second thing they never cared to mention that the nurses never got charged or written up for abuse or neglect to treat the patients. One patient had a U T I and was reported to the nurse and kept reporting to the nurse and other nurses and lpns and nothing got done, 3 months later they so oh so and so is suffering from a sevier bladder infection. and is bed ridden becaue it has gotten so bad that this resident can no longer walk to the bathroom with assistance but is in so much pain she scrams and cries when you get the patient up with a mechanical lift. but that never got reported or written up.
Another patient was suffering from a horrible problem that they had and would cry out but yet the nurses made you get that person up to eat … okay who realy wants to eat when they were in so much pain to cry out and yell. but could sit comfortably in bed…. and he would beg and pled to be left in bed and the workers would not want to get him up because he was in so much pain but nope who cares what the patient wants right. so the nurses made them get him up as he is crying … just so you guys know u can reposition people in bed they dont need to get up but they did not care… to me that is in human
Another time a charge nurse left a patient in a room with pants down half done with getting a cath done and left home with the patient like that wet and scared and indecent. But that does not matter but if you left a sock on the ground the night before oh belive me you would get yelled at for a half an hour.
none of those things you guys heard about and something else that you guys have not heard about is that the person who reported all this make belive incidents was an ex best friend of one of the girls and since she was getting fired for saying indecent things why not say stuff about these girls… come on perfect revenge on on ex best friend… you guys know how mean girls can get. A quick question to the Anonymous post left on Jan. 9th. Now the report said that the girls were quoted as admitting to these charges so how is it that you believe that this whole thing was made up by the girls’ supposed friend. Second off, I’m not really sure why you went on the rant that you did about the other horrible things that happened in the hospital. Yes, those people didn’t get caught but it certainly doesn’t excuse the behaviors of the two girls in the article. sorry it took so long to reply back. But for your first question is why did they admit it well one dod and that is because they twist the questions ask you multiple questions at once and you answer one question and if you say yes they take that answer for what ever question they please. And i know for a fact that it was an ex friend because i know them and steph the girl who made up the lies would go to bri’s house and try to start fights.so when she got fired for what she did why not say nasty things about the other girls to get them fired. and so she did. SHe likes attention and now a new co worker of hers tells me she sees first hand how she lies to get out of things and makes things up. ANd i ranted about they other things that happened at the nursing home which i did not have nothing to do with i just reported is because. There was evidence and those nurses hold those patients lifes in thier hands and they mistreated them for years but yet nothing was done or said to them at all. And they did nothing wrong it was not volenteer work it was their job to take care of the residents and they did. You could personaly ask the residents if they liked the girls and they would have told you yes they did. Because they cared about them and spent more time with them talking instead of just going in the room and cleaning them up fast and leaving them to lay there all day till the rounds. And i dont know how any of you belive the things said about them when the director of nursing at that nursing home stated a Certified Nursing Assistaints job is to just feed, brush the teeth of the residents. And that is a very small portion of a CNA’s job they bath,cloth change the residents. So if changing someone into clean clothes, showering them, and changing them when they are wet or have a bowel movementnt is wrong when it is your job. Nobody else is going to do it. so if you guys would rather them sit in thier filth then be taken care of you can call them sick along with every other perosn who works in the health care industry. these girls did nothing wrong and are going through alot just for some lies a scared little girl said. SO the negative attention would be off her and onto somebody else. So tell her the carma will come back to her.
