So the guy gets home from Iraq just in time for Christmas, and on January 3rd, he’s going to Afghanistan.

Words cannot express the depth of my gratitude for the incredible sacrifices made by our service people, and by their families.

Here is a man who, voluntarily, just spent eleven months away from his loved ones, putting his own life on the line.

In less than a month, he’s going to do it all over again.

Here is a family who just spent the last year without a husband or a father, knowing the whole time that there was a chance of losing him forever. And in less than a month, they’re going to do it again.

Our service people and their families are a national treasure, proof positive that God does indeed bless America.

OMG!!! I see little kids, boys and girls, wearing camoflauge pants, shirts, and helmets and …. waving flags!!!!! Worse, I think they are celebrating, gulp, Christmas, too!!! I see Santa hat’s!!

My favorite part, was the impromptu reaction of the children chanting “USA-USA.”
Where did they learn that?
I’ll bet it was from the same quality of people like Corporal Dixon.
God Bless those East Texas folks.
Where you can still find real America.
